2010 Beauty Favorites Tag + Photo of Me & Andrew

I got tagged by Linda to do this and I told her I will so now I shall ~~ hope you're happy woman!

1-Which lipstick/ lip gloss did you use most often in 2010?
MAC Cutester Lipstick! I've been trying to finish this tube of lipstick all year but I've found that I'm super lazy to re-apply lipstick so none of my lipsticks have gone down all year -__-"... but this one has a little bit! Plus I really hate how the lipstick squishes so easily and I just wanna get rid of it, although it really is a pretty shade :) Other than lipstick, I've been really getting into lip balms this year! My favorite is the Jack Black in the Natural Mint flavor.

2-What was your favorite eyeshadow this year?
I used mainly neutral eyeshadows this year. I haven't really fell back in love with colors yet.. or maybe there's not enough inspiration.. or I'm just short on time?!?! Lol, but the palette I turned to most was the Urban Decay Naked palette and the Too Faced Naked Eye palette that I purchase a few months ago during their sale!

3-What product for the complexion (foundation, blush, etc.,) did you use the most?
I LOVE the NARS Sheer Glow Foundation! (I really need to make a review soon.) I also enjoy using the Make Up For Ever HD Foundation. Blush wise, I really love the MAC Stereo Rose Mineralized Skinfinish or Benefit Coralista Blush and I always set my makeup everyday with the Make Up For Ever HD Powder. I swear one small jar lasts a little over a year for me! SOOOO worth the investment.

4-Your favorite nail polish color of 2010?
Didn't have a specific shade as a favorite, but this year I really enjoyed the taupe-type of colors! Either that, or anything from Essie. I think they're slowly becoming my favorite nail polish brand. They would be my favorite if only I could find them online for cheap (like China Glaze).

5-Which skin care product would you not give up under any circumstances?
I can never skip a day of eyecream (no favorites at the moment) or a day without putting SkinMD on my face! The current eyecream I'm trying out is the Caudalie Pulpe Vitaminée Eye and Lip Cream. Body wise, I can't go a day without putting lotion on because I have super dry skin I inherited from my father's side unfortunately!

I also can't bear to go a day without washing my face with Philosophy Purity Made Simple. It just keeps my face nice and clear :)

6-What is your favorite personal care product?
I can't live without my emjoi epilator! No picture of that because I always misplace this thing. I use it to epilate my underarms because I can't afford to wax and shaving doesn't last long enough for me! I've tried it on my legs and I use it there from time to time and then shave off the super small baby hairs. It also works wonders for my arms but I noticed I haven't been epilating that area for a while now.

7- Your usually worn fragrance in 2010?
I'm not big on scents so I don't really own any perfumes, but with my recent "sniffings" I found that I really like Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue and I've always been fond of Diesel Fuel For Life for Women but I've never purchased it.

8-What was your personal favorite jewelry piece?
I'm also not a big jewelery person either -- lol, I'm just boring I guess -- but when I do wear jewelery it's from Julu Jewelry or eki love! (Mainly earrings.) I do enjoy to wear my Forever 21 connector ring. It's just a solid gold bar and I feel it's very simple yet edgey :)

9-What have you discovered in 2010 that is new for you (new products, inspirations, blogs, hobbies, etc.,)?
I didn't really venture out much in 2010. I tried new products but none really stood out to me. There were no inspirations (unfortunately) and I haven't read any new blogs lately because I just don't really click away, lol. I guess a new "hobby" I do now is drinking tea! I've never drank tea before so it's really new to me but I don't think you'd consider it a hobby :P

10- Do you have resolutions for 2011? If so, what are they?
My resolution for 2011 is to not spend money on useless makeup I won't be using. It's hard to say no to my MAC makeup ladies but I really think I'm cured of impulsion! I guess it's okay once in a blue moon, but not everytime I see new stuff.

My other resolution is more school related -- stop/cut down on procrastination! I'm the queen of procrastination and since it's my first year at a university and taking full time SERIOUS classes, I've really got to buckle down and concentrate. Plus I need to get my priorities straight!

11-Tag other people:
I don't know who to tag because I've basically seen everyone on my blogroll do this tag already! I think I am the last (or near last) to do this so if you haven't done it, do it! :D

My mother asked me to take care of the nephew today while she started on some dinner since my sister was going to be late picking him up. I'm a lazy aunt. I sat there and watched youtube with him sitting in my lap... and I didn't even have to hold him!!! *SCORE*... lol, he's such a joy to watch. Never fussy and doesn't need attention! Who could've asked for anything more :)

He started screaming and I picked him up. Next thing I knew he fell asleep on my shoulder-ish area! I didn't even notice until I realized he wasn't wiggling anymore LOL... drooled all over my shoulder too but it's okay, it dried up in no time!

MEEE! :) I think this is the most creative title I've come up with in a long time LOL :P (besides my "when you don't use protection" post) This is a post dedicated to all the awards and tags I've been getting lately :D

So I don't like to post awards up because I usually forget about then by the time I go to make a new post ^_^ I would like to thank everyone who gives me an award or a tag because I'm really surprised you think about my blog! I honestly made this blog to just write about my makeup addiction, I never expected to even get any followers especially because I didn't go around other people's blog and mingled.. it just wasn't my thing to try to get "followers" and "readers". That's just my nature, even in person, I don't like to approach people, people approach me haha! Yeah it's kinda rude but I'm just a shy person underneath it all :P

The lovely Edna (http://www.abcgrrrl.com/) tagged me with the color tag! ^_^ I've already done the color tag but that color was RED but this time it's GUNMETAL GREY so I decided I'd do it :) This was wayyyy tougher than the red one, so excuse me if the colors are not so "GUNMETAL" ahah!

• the second thing is what my boyfriend's sister brought back for him from disneyland (the one in california) and it had some gray in it so I thought it would do :X

Some shoes I got at Ross for like $12.99.. I really love them! ^_^ Some dude in my class always commented about the little balls -__-" gosh, he is really weird and distracting! I'm so glad I don't have any classes with him this semester especially because I changed professors! haha xD Sorry they're really dirty because I wear them often okay?! :P

• footed tights from express. I was looking for something to wear with black dresses and picked these up during my christmas shopping ^_^ I really like them, but I still like black more so I will probably pick up some lacy ones next fall or something :P
• OPI nailpolish in suzi skys in the pyreness. It's also the suede one.. I really love it the way it naturally dries and even with a shiny top coat :D
• Milani eyeshadow, I'm not even sure the shade name because it's stolen :X It's from years ago from before I got with my boyfriend but I still keep it around because its a very pretty color :) One of my first eyeshadows to be exact!

So this is the photo! ^_^ It says "happy b-day Linda" on it.. it was at Mochi Kitchen where my family & I went to eat for my 18th birthday. My brother-in-law Chandra was the one that wrote it! I went there the other day and they finally cleaned off the walls for a new year of graffiti! haha :D Great food, great people but piranha's is my first choice of sushi any day just because of their appetizers and desserts :P

I got this at the film festival I went to in Austin. They were handing it out to promote their movie they made. It was crazy, people walking around dressed like clowns! Oh what people do to promote!

2. Mushroom Massager

Also got this when I was in Austin but I bought it at Waterloo for my boyfriend since his back always hurts. We have YET to use it lol, but I thought it was so cute :)

3. Vans Flats

I got these at the Vans outlet at Grapevine Mills. They are originally $40 but I got mine for $15 :D Hehe! I love themmmmm..

4. iPhone case

Red juicy couture case for my iPhone :D Originally saw one on eki's phone so I asked where she got it and got me one too ^_^ I don't know why I put on the red one, but I like it :)

5. Lip Products

My red lipstick and red dazzleglass :D I love wearing red lipstick, but I can't really eat anything since it might smear.. LOL! x)

6. Benihana Photo

Complimentary of Benihana on my birthday! I also got a free ice cream roll :) I might have been 16 or 17. I don't remember since I've been with my boyfriend for almost 4 years!

7. Headband

This has already appeared on my blog, but here it is again! My last thing that was visible to me that was red :) It's really comfy and it's a headband I've worn more than 3 times ^_^

WHY HELLO THERE + AWARD

I just got back from MAC! :D I checked out their style black collection and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! ^_^ BUT, they gave me two of the same color lipsticks so I gotta go back tomorrow after class and exchange it :( OH WELL! Has anyone else checked it out yet? :)

I was going to do a real post today because:
- I got my Rock and Republic haul
- I got my sephora haul
- I got my MAC haul
- I got Shar's prize package! (see photo below)

BUT I can't post because my boyfriend took our camera so I refuse to use shitty webcam pics! LOL :) anyway, look at the size of that envelope! OMG O_O When my boyfriend brought it into the room to show me whenever it came in, I was like WTF?! I thought all my stuff already came in already so I just left it there because I had a chemistry test the next day.. When I opened it it was like heaven because I didn't even know what the prizes were for her contest LOL! xD

I have lots of posts planned... but I'll start off with awards from fellow bloggers :)

I got both of these awards from Momo Monroe & Makeup Before Coffee (Crystal). Thank you for these awards dolls :)!

I've already done honest scrap in this post here so you can check that out ^_^

But I haven't done the other award yet. The rules are simple, list 10 useless facts! lol :)

3. I'm doing great in all my classes EXCEPT government! :( Boo hoo! I hope I don't have to drop it.

6. I don't wash my makeup brushes for about a week or maybe more sometimes... :O!
7. I'm on episode 115 on Bleach... almost finished with it hopefully! LOL

10. I don't fold my laundry until after like a week... LOL! What a LAZY ass! Do you guys see how lazy I am? O_O

BTW, I got an 86 on my psychology test! FUCK YEA! :) I got an 84 on my Chem test (I think) and I'm pretty sure I passed my speech test I stayed up all night studying for with at least an 80! :) I have another test on monday which is history and I'm a little skeptical about this one. :(

DAILY MAKEUP ROUTINE + AWARDS

I was tagged by Rai to do this daily makeup routine post :D Thanks girl!

I'm sure everyone's already following her so I won't even tell you girls to :P

So I start off with a fresh face in the morning after all the hot sex I had last night... lol, JUST KIDDING! :)

I've also included links to where you can buy these products if you're interested in trying them out. Just letting everyone know I'm taking my time to post entries! haha

Morning Skincare.

1. I wash my face with Purity made simple foaming face wash after brushing my teeth ^_^. I got the biggest size for $34. It lasts a really long time because I've had this for almost a year now :D
2. I apply Clinique All About Eyes Rich Eye Cream to my entire eye area.
3. Then I go in with Korres Yogurt Cream all over my face and into a little bit of my neck area.

Face/Complexion.

1. Prime my face with Make Up For Ever HD Foundation Primer in 7 Pink. It's suppose to brighten the complexion and counteract sallow undertones.
2. Apply my MAC Studio Fix Foundation all over my cheeks (with an intent for full coverage) with a stippling brush and whatever is left over I use for the rest of my face :)
3. Take a big fluffy powder brush (I use MAC 150) and apply the Make Up For Ever HD Powder all over the face to set my foundation and leave a nice smooth feeling on my skin ^_^

Eyes.

1. Apply Too Faced Shadow Insurance (not pictured) or Urban Decay Primer Potion (not pictured) all over my eyelids to prevent creasing because of Texas' hot ass weather!
2. Take my MAC Starflash Eyeshadow in Bold & Brazen (LE) or one of the lower eyeshadows in the Cargo Eyeshadow Palette in Baja and apply it all over my lid up to above the crease. Apply Revlon Matte Eyeshadow in Vintage lace as a highlight.
3. If there's enough time because I didn't sleep in, I take the darkest color in the palette and put it into my crease area for some dimension and so that my eyes don't look so fat and pudgey haha.
4. Take any angled liner brush and take some of the Anastashia Duo Brow Powder (medium ash) and fill in my brows so I don't look so nekkid!
5. Apply liquid eyeliner using the Revlon Colorstay Liquid Liner Pen all over the top lash line starting from thinner on the inside and getting thicker as you go out :D
6. Grab whatever mascara I feel like using that day and slap some on and then head out the door. Or if anything, slap some on when I'm at a stop light on the road. Yes I am that girl that does that but not while the car is moving because I can't shift at the same time! HAHA! (here I have pictured: Clinique Lash Power Mascara, Maybelline Pulse Perfection Mascara, and Maybelline Lash Stiletto Mascara.)

Cheeks.

1. Apply some blush onto your cheeks for a little bit of color & glow :) I usually skip this step but if anything I use Benefit Coralista Blush most of the time and then NARS Orgasm Blush if I'm not feeling the pinkyness of the other one :D

Lips.

1. Take some chapstick (pictured if aquafina flavor splash in citrus something and burts bees lip balm) when I'm on the step before I put on eyeshadow :)
2. Apply a lipstick of choice, these are the ones I usually use left to right: Revlon Matte Lipstick in 002, MAC Please Me Lipstick (just bought this and it's becoming a fav), and MAC Freckletone Lipstick.
3. Top it off with a lipgloss. Here I have left to right: MAC Lipglass in Pastel Emotion (LE), MAC Tinted Lipglass in Young Thing, MAC Cremesheen Glass in Melt in Your Mouth (LE), MAC Dazzleglass in Baby Sparks, NARS Lipgloss in Pillow Talk.

Removal.

1. The Victoria's Secret Very Sexy Total Makeup Remover is the one I'm currently using ^_^ It's actually pretty good! Takes everything off pretty much in one/two swipes :)

Nightime Skincare.

1. Take something to exfoliate your face. I use St. Ives Invigorating Face Scrub nightly but occasionally I use Neutrogena's Wave with Clean&Clear Blackhead Eraser circle thingies to really scrub down :)
2. I finish off with Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Cream Cleanser afterwards and my face feeels super smooth ^_^

3. Apply an eyecream. I usually use Korres Evening Primrose Eye Cream or Cosmedicine Optimologist Eye Cream for night time since it feels heavier to me and doesn't completely absorb all the way with my skin.
4. I apply a really sheer layer of Korres Yogurt Mask and sleep with it on as a night cream instead of washing it off after 20 minutes since I feel like it works better that way :D

That was super long.. took me over an hour to do this! hahaha xD Probably because I tried to look up every product :P

I don't know who to specifically tag, but I want to tag all the girls that I follow because I'd love to read about what you use and what works for you :) I'm currently looking for a concealer, but it's not on my top priority list because I'm not in dyer need of one lol, but it'd be nice to have one to use :D

I also got an award from Amy Naree & Beauty Inside and Out for the beautiful blogger award :) Thank you ladies! It's very flattering :P haha. I'm not sure who to pass this onto either because I'm running out of blogging time for right now! I have to go read my lab for tomorrow and read some chapters of psychology.. *yawn* so BORING!

But anywho, how's everyone doing that started classes? I guess I'm doing okay but I do have something that I'm frustrated about! I studied for my government quiz (read chapter 1 because we were quizzed over it) and I frickin got a 5 out of 10!!! WTF?!?! That's bullshit man! I took my other quizzes, psychology, history, speech, and chemistry lab, and I got a perfect score on all of those and I didn't even study nor I really knew what I was doing.. I'm kind've bummed out about that :( But hopefully I'll do okay on the test in a few weeks to make up for it! ^_^

That's it today, I have a few post that I know what I'm going to post but I'm just so lazy to bust out the camera and take pictures LOL xD

Now for the interesting things..
1. I like to wear the same pants for days and days and days.. They don't really get dirty and I don't wash them until I really have to. haha, I don't think it's dirty at all! Do you do this too? Or do you think I'm DIRTAYYY? LOL!
2. I have 7 iPhones in the house right now.. yeah! That's really interesting to come home to LOL! :)
3. I like to smell the inside of my flats & sneakers! I always smell it to see if they smell clean.. I'm so self conscious! I don't really have stinky feet except with the shoes I shared with my sister or my boyfriend's little sister. I guess sweat doesn't mix good right? I don't do this anymore, but I still like to smell my shoe to make sure it's clean haha :)
4. I don't wear deodorant unless it's REALLY hot! I don't sweat much and I don't really think I have a "stinky" odor. But I use the prescription strength ones for sweat control :P
5. Me & my boyfriend sleep on a twin size bed. YES! A TWIN SIZE BED.. haha and we fit comfortably on it ^_^ He said he's the size of a keebler elf.
6. I eat things off the floor that I drop. Unless they're "saucey" because those go straight into the trash! haha :) Pretty gross habit but whatever, if it looks clean, it means it's clean enough for me! LOL
7. I get really happy and excited when I get packages :D Even if it's ones that I ordered myself.. xD

6 Things That Make Me Happy...

1. My boyfriend. I love him :) He's been here with me for 3+ years! How could I not? He's the guy that every girl wants. Always offers to buy me things, always gets the bill at the restaurant, always doings things to make me happy.. I try to do my best to return the favor but sometimes I guess I'm too "self-centered." LOL!

2. I love sweets.. everyone's worried that I'm going to have diabetes! I'm kinda scared now too! I've actually cut down a lot now but I still have some here and there :)

3. Makeup. I've always loved to play with makeup as a kid! I guess it really stuck and now that I have an idea of where to apply and stuff, the possibilities are ENDLESS! It's like I have the power to do anything!

4. Power. Yeah, I'm the even mouse Brain, from pink & the brain. haha, I would make the world bow down to me if I could! Well, just the jerks that give me shit here and there. :) I'm pure evil inside... haha, okay maybe not PURE but I have some bite in me!

5. Blogging. It's such a stress reliever for me. Something I can just vent to, except for when it's being BUGGY! I enjoy reading everyone's blog posts even though sometimes my internet is being whack and won't let me comment :P

6. SLEEP! I sleep so much it's not funny. I love to sleep and I do it when I'm bored. I haven't been able to OVERsleep much anymore but one day I will be able to :)... Hopefully when I'm a millionaire!

My obsessions...
1. Chile & Lime flavored things.. OMG it's so good! I'm bringing out the inner "mexican" in me :D not trying to offend anyone so please don't take it offensive! I just loveeeeee those types of food even though when I eat too much of it, it makes my stomach hurt :(

2. Forever21.com.. I keep finding myself visiting it and keep adding things onto my "wishlist" so that I can remember to buy it later! haha :) I love their cheap stuff. It's pretty good quality too ^_^

3. Studio Sculpt Foundation. I think I might buy the full size! OMG, I hate, hate, hate this foundation but I find myself reaching over and over for the sample I got! :) It's a love/hate relationship! It's full coverage which I LOVEEE but I think I need to exfoliate my face or something because it clings onto my flakes and it looks gross!

4. Macbook Pro.. I love my laptop so much.. the best $2,000 I have ever spent. Well the best $11,00 I ever spent was on my car but I didn't pay for that :P (thank you mom&dad! I LOVE YOU :D) This laptop will last me YEARSSS! I still have an eMac and now it's iMac so you know how old that computer is? It's fat as hell too, takes up soo much room. Wish I could trade it in for an iMac :P

5. White chocolate macadamia cookies. The best cookies ever! It's slowly replacing my favorite cookie, the oatmeal raisin. I buy mine at subway but I'm sure really good ones are THE BOMB! haha :) Thank you if you're still reading for listening to my dorkiness and my digusting habits :P If you're still reading, put "You're GAY!" or "I hate you!" down in the comments & tell me which single eyeshadow, lipglass, or technokohl liner you want from the new upcoming mac collection and I shall get it for you and send it out to whenever I go to pick up mine :) deadline is my next post okay?? GLAM, SPARKLE, & POP + EOTD + TAG

A short post tonight! :)

I placed an order at Glam, Sparkle, Pop about 1.5 weeks ago and this came in sometime last week! I'm pretty satisfied with my order because I only ordered 5 things :D

Anywho, I don't want my blog entry to be too boring tonight :P I just finished watching "KNOWING" with my boyfriend and I think it was a pretty good movie! The ending was kinda whack though because it just looked like the adam and eve story. Has anyone else watched this movie before?

So I pretty much learned how to do makeup from youtube videos and jackin' around with my own stuff! One of the first gurus I watched on youtube is makeupgeek :) I love the way she does makeup and the color combos she comes up with! So she's started this weekly challenge on makeupgeek.com and I wanted to enter too! (plus she was giving away a set of sigma brushes :P) The challenge was to create a look using eyeliners only! Gosh that was a super challenge and I enjoyed doing with although I didn't win! :) Enjoyyyyy...




Everyone should try doing makeup with eyeliners only. It's really frickin complicated and challenging ^_^

GRAPHIC GARDEN LOOK #2: SMOKEY NIGHTS + PIC TAG

Hello everyone! How was your weekend? I did something exciting, went on a movie date with my boyfriend :) We watched The Collector. It was suspenseful scary! I wouldn't recommend it to anyone that doesn't like saw. Enjoyed it but very grotesque.

To start off this post, I give you Jack! He's so cute and takes up the whole entire bed. haha, I bought him this toy :) I'm happy to see that he LOVES it! His mustache is all messed up whenever he wakes up! haha :D I <333 him!


here's look #2 I did using the graphic garden palettes ^_^ I used the graphic garden one with just the silver & black color and a matte eyeshadow for a highlight :) I would've made it smokier but it was still day time and I had errands to run. Like my headband? It's only $3.80 at forever 21! I went to walmart to return something and I got lots of stares.. I don't know if people were checking me out or if they think I was weird?! lol :)

It's very nice and subtle.

Add false lashes for a dramatic effect!

Toblerone is so yummy! I think my favorite out of this box is the PRALINE! Of course original is yummy too :)

Me with praline in my mouth.. I think I ate it after this! lol ^_^ and I think I'm wearing freckletone lipstick! Haven't been wearing blush lately because I'm lazy. That's probably the one makeup product I could live without! I only own about 5 so I think that's pretty okay :)


I really didn't know what to post about tonight! I'm gonna try to post on weekday nights as much as I can but I think I'm going to try to lay off blogger on the weekends xD haha! I'm so addicted... So who's going back to school?? I'm nervous to go to college :( I've already taken all my english classes but not on campus! I researched my professors on www.ratemyprofessors.com and all of them are in the clear but one of my classes I'm not sure who's teaching yet :(
