SHAR'S ARABIC CONTEST LOOK

Here's a quick look I did for shar's arabic contest! I know I didn't follow the rules but I don't really care about entering to win.. haha :) I just wanted to do it since she was having a contest! ^_^

Theme:
Create an Arabic Style Inspired Makeup. From what I noticed, when I google 'Arabic Style Makeup', They usually have flawless, porcelain-like skin, and really bright colors on the eyes yet it still looks smokey because of the heavy eyeliner on both the lashline and lower lashline.

I did this look really quick after I got off school today! I thought I deserved a few hours off of school stuff to go shopping & play with my makeup since the professor sorta let me off early today?? haha, still left the campus super late though because I was trying to get my scantrons, manuals, and such ^_^ BTW, I have a lab partner! haha, he's SMART. Well most of them are nerdy looking and smart and some are kinda old and the rest are foreign.. LOL! shh.. I'm mean but I'm not trying to make fun :)

Wearing NC35 Studio Fix that I bought from shar's blogsale! Go check that out. She has really cool stuff :D haha, I'm surprised it's almost a perfect match! Just a teensy bit too light ^_^

Trying to make a sex face.. but it turned out funny looking! HAHA XD

The eyeshadows I used were: Urban Decay Deluxe E/S in Honey, MAC Dangerzone MES, MAC Mont Black, and MAC Shroom. I made it super dramatic with falsies and stuff too :)

Give me props because I wore this look out shopping today! :D I really liked the height of the eyeshadow but I don't think these colors are very wearable.. haha :)

ahh.. I'm not sure anymore! haha :) My lipstick actually stayed on without lipliner today! I'm very impressed ^_^

But my lashes didn't stay on half as long as my lipstick because my eyes watered up when the wind hit it and therefore made the glue not work anymore! haha, I had to take them off halfway to the mall and apply my eyeliner over the "missing" parts :P

I hoped you enjoyed my entry shar! I understand if it doesn't meet your rules & regulations but I did this for you :D

On the otherhand, I'm really tired with all this school stuff. It's really exhausting me and I'm never gonna get to eat lunch ever again on wednesday T_T I hate you community college traffic!!! haha xD

and I need some advice, some people on my blog sale are being stubborn! Should I still sell to them or do I have the right to refuse service? :( I'm not sure what to do but I'm usually a nice person but I do get a little bit wench-y sometimes! anyone else been in the same situation?

DAY TO NIGHT CONTEST

for the Day to Night contest, you're suppose to come up with a makeup or an outfit look that you can wear for daytime and night time. So that's 2 looks total! I did both, clothes and outfit.

FOR THE CONTEST, during the day I'm an office assistant/secretary/phone receptionist! Something that works office-ish. My friends are customer service reps for dilliards and they always get off of work looking great! lol, I wish I could dress up like this for work! Well not where I work though but for a job like this :)

I kept the makeup relatively simple since you're inside the "office" all day. Neatly groomed my brows :P

Eyemakeup:

eek. My head looks really big! LOL xD Well, it's somewhat big so whatever?!

Here's the outfit. Looks funny because I had to crouch down or else I don't fit with the background lol. It's a yellow-mustard color and the length goes a little lower than the mid-thigh. I think it's pretty work appropriate! Well I actually wore it once to work when I used to work as a hostess :D

After work, I'm so important so I go to galas with my husband and we drink & dance the night away! (Although I'm not much of a dancer in real life lol, this is my imagined life!) I wish I would've styled my hair but I didn't think of it at the time -__-

If I don't make it in time before work then I'll have to drop it off at the post office friday morning. Who knew the post office closes at 5?!?! gosh, I feel stupid lol xD

I was thinking oh paris is famous for her crouch shots but I don't think I would want to do that lol, plus the boyfriend wanted me to have CLOTHES on :D I googled her name and good lord this girl has so many inappropriate pictures! I probably found this one on like the 14th page?!?!

Anyway, this is the look:

I shouldn't have gave my white headband away! And I forgot to put my earrings back on for the picture lol, it was a b*tch teasing my hair! I have the STRAIGHTEST FLAT hair ever! And I curled it with a straightener for the first time :)

Yeahhh.. I don't look right when I don't smile! lol I'm too happy of a person :) ...and the pimple is still there but it's really small! ALMOST gone!!! yayyy

I think Paris has posed like this before? Or similar?? lol, and my boobs looks big here! XD

Very simple look, I did another look that was super bright and reminded me of deep sea diving or something lol. I wore this to work on Friday night. EXCUSE MY EYEBROWS! They have a mind of their own >:(

Just a neutral eye look.. it's very light reflecting :)

Like my flower? I had a REAL flower but the stem was flimsy because it was kinda old lol. Flower is from lao new years I think?

Everyone see my pimple?!?! My friend under my lip disappeared and this little fellow showed up on my cheek! GROSS!

I tried to wink LOL!

My eyes look funny! :X Everyone see my nails? I did something creative for once :)

MUFE HD powder is the best! My face stayed shine free for practically the entire day!

And last but not least...

I chose this look because I really think it's a good summer look! It's simple and easy to do and I don't think you could get sick of this color combination if you wore it everyday versus the bright colors :)

Doggy-Sitting + Cotton Candy Kisses

I've been staying at my sister's house since Saturday since she went out of town to California :) That's why its been so hard to update! Sorry if I haven't been commenting, I promise I'm reading them on my phone when I really shouldn't be.. :P

Meet Jack. He's the reason I'm even here! LOL, she didn't want him to starve and go crazy :P

His hair was so long before but I took him to go get a haircut :) The lady that cut his hair had to give him an oatmeal shampoo because he had a red rash or something :( I feel so bad like it's my fault but hopefully it wasn't! My brother in law said he might've left the flea shampoo on too long before he left :/


Anywho, onto beauty related things! Here's my look for Katrina's contest. I think she moved the date to end on 05/25 so go join! :D I'm gonna have to say I didn't get to put as much time as I wanted to into this look as I planned because of Jack lol. He just wants so much attention! I had to do this at home before I left to my sister's house. Didn't want to lug all that makeup with me :P

She had two options, "boom boom pow" and "candy shop". I actually did both looks but I didn't like the way the other one turned out. My inspiration was cotton candy because I always have to get fresh cotton candy everytime the state fair comes :D

I messed up putting the falsies on but the glue dried before I could fix it :P

Not sure why my face looks so light in the pictures. I think I have the "lighter skin tone" setting on or something?

I tried to blend the lipstick together with "purple in the inside" and "pink on the outside" like I been sucking on a grape lollipop or something but it didn't show up on camera right.

Tried to look as much of a little kid as I could lol! That's why my hair is in pig tails :P

Getting My Blair On

My contest entry for M's contest! I had fun dressing up and actually wearing a dress to work! xD

I don't think I'd make a very good prep! I mean I don't even have a headband :O haha, but I DID take time to curl my hair :) the curls actually stayed on all day, even through the busy workday. they were soft too.. I didn't think the bedhead would work so well! (Although the curls looked good, what is up with my bangs?!?!)

I wore this to my dad's birthday brunch and decided too much wanna-be "cleavage" for dim sum lol and changed into this:

Sorry it's so bright! I took it outside and didn't realize how high my ISO was. It was so windy that day that I need a jacket and pulled out my handy dandy plaid trench :) I think that's pretty "preppy." I also wore the black dress I got from my last post with some tights underneath (don't want the wind to reveal anything!)

These were my main inspiration for the contest:

1) ruffle shirt

2) Soft waves and easy makeup :D

So my only preparation for the curling was combing a little bit of Bedhead Small Talk through my hair. I didn't think it'd work so well because I've tried it before and it left my hair a little hard. I guess I wasn't using it right because after I spritzed my hair with the bedhead maniac something hair spray I combed through it with the brush and my curls lasted until I got come from work :) I was very impressed!

BTW, I ordered a few more items from hello kitty before they were gone for good -- so then I won't be bummed that I didn't buy it :) My boyfriend said it's okay because it's almost my birthday.. :D
