ASSEMBLAGE FOTD

Hello! :)

Back again, and with a new layout! haha, I had a different one earlier but I just didn't love it and it was making me mad so I found this one! :D

I'm finally getting to my "assemblage" fotd I've been meaning to do. This eyeshadow "quad"... since it's not really a quad... is super wearable for everyday and I don't regret buying it! It's one of the only things I bought during the MAC Colour Craft release ^_^

I use this so often I have a dent in the main lid color I'm wearing. It's a shimmery, yellowish champagne color and I'm also starting to form a dent in the gray/gunmetal color! The white I find too frosty and hard to use so that one is pretty new looking still and so is the black because I have other blacks :P


Hate my right (left in the picture) eyelid! I swear it's starting to make me more mad everyday! :(

I was trying to do a foundation review today but that was an epic fail. I ended up rubbing my face almost the entire time I took my chemistry final because I was thinking too hard so I was like forget it I'll reattempt it tomorrow! haha :D

I have a chubby face! :) It's skinny some days and fat another haha, it's funny because my mom would be like "geez you need to stop eating so much" and then another day it's like "oh my gosh, go get some food!"

I'm wearing MAC Please Me lipstick! It's really pretty, but it's a matte and it's kinda drying on my lips since I have really dry lips already anyway.. but I used a lipbalm over it after wearing it because it was irritating me and it helped.

I want some ice cream! ^_^.. no really I do even though it's like 40 degrees over here.. that's when it's the best! :D It means no melting hahaha!

So I'm liking the pictures without the flash. Do YOU like it? This is the only spot I can get good lighting on and I've been really wanting to make videos, but I seriously CANNOT find my tripod! I'm so PISSED.. GRR.. oh well!

3 more exams to take. I'm pretty mad because I didn't get the grade I expected to get on my chemistry final today... Let's just say I did really good on my government exam when I never did any homework or read chapters for that class. I mean the exam was open book/notes but I was excited I did amazing on the exam. BUT CHEMISTRY... how did I get that grade?!?! I mean COME ON.. I might've bubbled in wrong because that's what happened during the lab finals, but since I had tons of time left I went and check and had to reenter a lot of the answers back in.

Yeah, that's probably why.. which is really stupid of me. Shoulda been more careful eh?

Going to buy my mother some more omega-3 fish oil from CVS right now.. I wish I had gone two days ago because I had a coupon! haha, oh well... Then after I'm coming back and should really look over the history material because we have a final tomorrow and I haven't read the chapters yet LOL.. dang what a slacker!

The packaging of the product is to resemble the heel of a stiletto. I thought this was pretty cute! :)

Typical plastic wand. Not a big fan because when I apply it sometimes I kinda graze my eye and it hurts! :(

The wand is SQUARE, not your old-fashioned ROUND kinda look. This is where the grip and extend comes into play. I think it did an okay job at that unless I poke myself in the eye!

I applied urban decay eyelash primer potion as a mascara base in this review. I'm really liking it.. Plus it's purple! ^_^


Here I tested out the mascara with no primer on.


It does okay with one coat, but that's where I would stop. The second coat doesn't look smoothly applied like the first one but you can't really tell in the picture. I'm not sure if it gives seductive length, but it does give some kind of length.

Here I tested it out using the primer first.


It applied very smoothly and during the application process it applied quicker because I already had my lashes coated with something.I really like the way it looks with just one coat on personally because after I get to the second coat it just starts to look fake!

I don't personally know if it irritates eyes with contacts because I don't wear contacts or glasses. It doesn't really flake until you've had it for a while (around a month) and it starts to dry out and it will flake a little bit throughout the day. This mascara has a funky smell. Well not funky, but very strong like the colossal mascara that Maybelline carries.

I would say this is an average mascara because it doesn't adhere as well as it would without the primer. I mean, I don't have time to put on primer and then mascara, I live a busy life, lol! The camera doesn't pick up on the length very well but it looks much lengthier in person but I would say it does lack volume.

• Mascara starts to dry out after about a month and a half

I really do like this mascara, but it just doesn't "WOW" me enough to repurchase another tube.

I'll start giving away products when I review them now. Not the ones I USED, but a new one because I'll sometimes buy two products of the same thing in case I like it. Due to the fact that some products I do buy are pricier I won't do it for every single product but it's whatever right because it's free! LOL..

STILA HAUL

I'm not sure if any of you know, but I LOVE stila products! :) I'm not gonna lie, sometimes they are a bit "plain jane" for me but it's great for when I want to look like that ^_^

So here's something I bought before thanksgiving. I forgot when it came in becaue I took pictures just to have to ready on my computer to make a new post... yeapp, LAZY!

They had an offer when I got this and it was "spend $25 and get the runway look palette free". I think I bought the "smokey stare" (deal they had with the red carpet look and stila smudgepot) and got the runway free.. I'm pretty sure. But I'm pretty sure the runway one if the black palette! XD

Each palette comes with a Stila Kajal Liner in Onyx(?.. the black one) So I just went ahead and spent $35 to get the "smokey stare" palette and it comes with a barbie loves stila smudgepot in little black dress. Gosh I love it! ^_^

Left side is the red carpet look and the right side is the runway look and done the middle separating the eyeshadows is the little black dress smudgepot and on the bottom is the onyx kajal.

I think these are super wearable palettes and can be used on a daily basis :) All in all I am satisfied with my purchase but I wish stila had better shipping rates! It cost me $7.95 for shipping.. and last time I didn't really buy much from them so I was kinda a little mad but this time it's worth it since I got a free eyeshadow palette :P

Who's all taking their finals soon?!?! *raises hand* I finally finished my speech and presented today and I think I did alright. I also finished my butthole of assignments I needed to get done so I'm a little bit more relieved now except I still have so much other things to do! :(

My boyfriend's birthday is tomorrow. He's turning 21! :)
