Starting off the new year strong with a bunch of food in my body.

Massive amounts of food + No working out = New FAT :( OH WELL.

I swung by Barnes&Nobles the other day to kill time waiting to go somewhere. I checked out a lot of random things and then ran into the baking books and grabbed a bunch and sat down and flipped through them. By the time I was finished I was in serious craving of some sweets!

I adored the Maxim Green Tea Lattes that Amy had given me in a love pack a while back and they do not sell them in Texas and are always sold out online on mitsuwa :( I finally realized I can order this at starbucks and I have to admit it was quite delicious! This will be one of my new regular drinks :)!!

I've also been having the BIGGEST dimsum craving for the longest time and I finally got a Sunday off to grab some :)! I went to Kowloon in Arlington, TX because it was the nearest location to me that had a decent selection. I was so hungry and just dug in without thinking of taking a picture so I snapped a quick one after half the food was gone :P

My friend and I grabbed dinner at the new location of Pho 95 off Cooper in Arlington, TX. I live near another location which is a lot older and has been around forever. The new location has a bar and looks really fancy! I think it's more catered to the non-asian customers lol, and they actually do an awesome job of refilling drinks :D! Best thing is it's the same prices as the one near my house so that's a definite plus ;)

I took my younger cousin out to eat for his 17th birthday, graduation, and 18th birthday... finally! I told him I was in the mood for hibachi and ask if he had a preferred place so we ended up at Shogun in Southlake, TX. The place was very small compared to other hibachi places I've been to and I didn't realize he's only been to one. We got there after dinner time was over so there wasn't anyone else eating while we were, just getting ready to leave. The cook was mediocre during the show and staff seemed like they were ready to close shop and leave. I'm just glad the food was yummy!

Some friends and I stopped by braums after dinner one day. I finished every last bite of my meal and I had the banana split and finished that too lol! I was SOOO hungry. One of our friends missed the dinner memo so he ended up buying a burger at braums.

Co-workers and I went to TGIFridays in celebration of my co-worker Cassie turning 20! Cheers to her, she's finally old! I had the parmesan crusted chicken which is a crispy chicken breast served with cheese tortelloni in spinach alfredo sauce which also came with a tomato-mozzarella chese salad. Quite yummy if I recall! :)

That all the food porn I have from the past couple of weeks, I guess I haven't exactly documented every meal I'm ate/made because I'm always so hungry and dig right in! PLUS my iphone camera is pretty crappy as you can tell :( OH WELL!

I'm planning on making an eyebrow tutorial :) Just depends how the video comes out will be whether I post it up or not! Hopefully nothing malfunctions lol.

Review: Physician's Formula Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner

Today's post is about a product I've recently discovered from Mona's Blog. I'm always on the hunt for a good liquid liner. I've gone off and on from gel to liquid but I always come running back to liquid liners...

The Physician's Formula Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner has a calligraphy type of tip rather than a felt or brush. This is the first time I've ever used one of these and I have to say I now prefer it! I know that the kpalette 24hour liner, kat von d, lorac, and shiseido ones have it but it's a little out of the price range I'd want to spend on a liquid liner pen that I don't know will dry out within a week or so.

Comes in sleek shiny silver packaging. It leaves fingerprints but it's round packaging kinda "reduces" it in a way to where you don't really see it.

The applicator! I've been using this for about three weeks now and it has yet to dry up! I'll give it a couple weeks, give or take, before I use up all the so called "ink".

With it's extra fine tip you have the ability to create fine lines to thick lines. It's really awesome for winging out liner too! The color ultra black isn't too "ultra black". It's like a soft black but as you layer it it becomes a nice black shade. As for the lash boosting part of this product, I can't vouch for it saying it'll give you lush lashes. I never intended for this product to give my sad wimpy lashes any enhancement but I don't think it really helps for that.

I purchased this at CVS for about $10. Physician's Formula has always been on the pricier side of the drugstore lines but I think it's reasonably priced. I'll definitely repurchase this after I run out. They usually have BOGO 1/2 off so buying two at a time will most likely be the cheapest way.

FOTD: Suicide Pinup

Hey all (:

I was going through some blogs and I found a pinup tutorial! [Check Chrissy's look out] I've always wanted to post up a pinup look on here and everytime I've attempted one and took picture my camera always washed out the colors since they were basically skintone.

When I think of pinup makeup I think flawless skin, contoured face, bold brows, red lip, and a matte defined eye.

I didn't use flash this time and used my lighted vanity mirror for lighting and it turned out pretty good! I even attempted a suicide roll for you, which by the way FAILED miserably. The end result was my fourth time and it still wasn't smooth!

Apologizing in advance since I also cam-whored a bit because I haven't done an actual look in a LONG time :D

Goodbye 2011, Hello 2012!

Happy New Years everyone! (:

I hope the new year is treating everyone good! Every year I literally do nothing for New Years Eve. I usually just stay home but this year my friend invited me to take a family trip to Wichita, Kansas!

We stayed at his aunt's lakehouse. I only snapped a few pictures while I was there because there was literally nothing to take photos of since we were there for about a day and half >__<

It was suuuuper cold. I only brought a light cardigan since I was thinking "Texas weather." I guess I didn't realize where we were staying!

His puppy Momo! He's such a cutie, his hair is sooo long that it just blows in the breeze lol! He looks like he's gonna sweep the floor sometimes too :)

This is my friend Kiet. He has long hair also that I sometimes straighten LOL.

The photo below I think is very interesting.... I tried to enlarge it so you can all see!

We both have iPhones... my phone has a tokidoki case which I purchased from sephora. His is PINK!

Here's the makeup for the day. I did a simple, not so dark look using the NAKED2 palette! It was just a little more for definition that you can't see in the photo lol.

This is my friend and I! I'm in serious need of a haircut yet haven't made my way to the salon yet...

We were also in need of an eyebrow touchup. I actually took care of this the next day :P

What was there to do in Kansas? NOTHINGGG. The previous night when we arrived we ended up playing hide&seek in the dark. It was actually pretty fun! The next day we went to the mall. THERE WERE NO STORES WORTH LOOKING IN!!! I ended up at Victoria's Secret for their 7/$25 panty raid they had and that's all I ended up with. We also ended up eating at Outback Steakhouse and I would've had food pictures but I didn't want to embarrass their family by whipping out my camera lol :)

When the clock struck 12, I was knocked out in the car since we were driving back. Soooo technically I didn't do much for New Year's but I did a lot more than normal. PLUS I got to visit a new state! ^__^

I have another post I'm working on. I was INSPIRED to do makeup and I've already done it and taken photos just gotta build the post and resize everything. I'm really excited about that one but I've gotta head to bed now because I need to be up in a couple of hours >__<

Some random FOTD's

Hey everyone :) Merry late Christmas! I hope everyone got to spend it with the ones they love, I know I did.

Lately my makeup has been neutral and boring, I even used some olives one day! :D I guess my statement is more of lips -__-" I have been staying away from home lately so I haven't had my full makeup drawers at my disposal.

THIS IS WHERE MY NAKED PALETTE COMES IN ;D I can't say how much I love this palette, and now that I own NAKED2 I love that one even more... (I will make a post soon, no more iPhone blogging because my camera doesn't focus anymore and my battery is currently charging)

Here's a neutral eye I put together, I had some CRAZY sparkles on that day and tried to capture it but no luck so no point on posting that! I actually put on nude lipstick which is a shocker to me because I haven't done nude in a while >__<

I curled my hair that day with the HANA 1" Professional straightener. I thought I failed miserably, but I got a lot of compliments that night! ^__~

The next fotd was with second day hair -___-" I didn't feel my hair was oily enough to wash so I just went with it. BAD IDEA, it got so oily later that day... I should really carry dry shampoo on me but I don't have a preferred one though I've only tried a couple. I'm very picky because I prefer the colorless ones...
Any dry shampoo recommendations for dark hair?

I sported the red lip for almost a week straight, it was so weird taking it off! Again, used the NAKED palette again that day. It's so difficult to eat when you want your lipstick to stay on!

I have a lot of posts planned out in my head, just gotta charge up my camera! I also hit the CVS sale they're having O__O... I got a few things I've been wanting but didn't want to cough up the money lol so that will be my next few posts soon, hopefully!

Review: HANA Titanium 1.5" Flat Iron

Hello lovelies! :) I KNOW I've really been slacking on my blogging, especially with no post for November, but here I am now *waves* I've been busy with who knows what, I'm even curious to what I've been doing...

I was contacted by Brian from misikko.com to do a review on the HANA Titanium 1.5" Flat Iron. I've been looking for a bigger flat iron for quicker straightening and this was the perfect opportunity!

Here's the package:

Misikko always has the most generous packaging, from other blogs and personal experience they've always included freebies in their packages!

The flatiron comes inside of a pouch, inside of the metal box. It also comes with a silicon mat to set your straightener on when you're using it so that you won't damage any surfaces with the heat.

The straightener has a swivel cord which moves with you to prevent memory forming in the cord and keeps it tangle-free! (I REALLY hate when there's memory in my cords..) There's also an adjustable heat setting!

There were also a few makeup products from LA Colors but for some reason I didn't get it in the picture.

Alright, I know a post isn't the same without some pictures of the product in action! I know my hair is pretty straight already but it flips in and out in different directions and doesn't look pulled together.

My facial expression looked really goofy and fake so I had to blur it out :P I didn't use any heat protectant and it's still shiny! ^__^

From the back of my head it looks really messy.. lol

Everytime I straighten my hair people always ask if I just got my hair cut. That really tells you I never do my hair! XD

Overall I really enjoyed using this straightener! It's definitely become a staple in the products I use daily. If you're not interested in the HANA Titanium, misikko also carries a variety of products such as hair dryers, other flat irons, and even the model in a bottle! Their newest addition to the HANA family is their Air hair dryer :)

Haul: MAC Glitter and Ice

Happy Halloween everyone! (or what's left of it.)

I did absolutely nothing for Halloween this year except work. I guess I did something the previous week and have a few pictures of that so that'll be the next post ;P

Today I spent all morning in the campus library while waiting for my *friend* to be done with class since I went to school with him lol. I FINALLY purchased my textbook and downloaded all the files we were suppose to have. Looked at the online homework and realized it's not due until another week or so, so I decided to read blogs! I swear when I don't have time to read, that's when everyone blogs! I didn't get through reading them in the two hours and I don't even follow that many people! (btw, any blog recommendations? I've been out of the loop and wanna start following more people!)
hehe, my panda backpack ;) childish I know, but I like to have cute looking bags lol. It's more toned down than the hello kitty I was going to get ^_^ && gotta blog through my mac!

I didn't haul much from MAC this year from their holiday collection. AND I didn't haul anything from Sephora's f&f sale. SUPER SHOCKER?! Yes, but that's because I'm broke too. Plus all my skincare has been stocked up already so there's really no point :/ I did get the VIB sale in the mail for the next two weeks though so maybe it'll give me another chance to get at least something I'm interested in.

*DUN DUN DUN...* All I got were three paint pots. I had some interest in a few other things but it didn't quite make the cut for me.
I didn't realize until I got home that they came in special packaging... and yet I wondered why it was more than usual for three paint pots -___-" It's also because I preordered it and everything was bagged up and ready when I got there (:
They come with white lids rather than black, but other than that and the box it's basically the same packaging. The OCD in me is dying .____. they don't match any of my other paint pots, and I have a ton!!! D:<

Top to bottom: Let's Skate! | Morning Frost | For Effect

I really thought I was going to dislike Let's Skate! but I purchased anyway because I just have a love for paint pots. It turns out that in the sun it's GORGEOUSSSS and by far my favorite out of the bunch. I haven't tried it on yet but I'm sure it'll look great :)

Let's Skate! is a icy pink with a golden shimmer. It sounds crazy but I have no other way to describe it... and let's just say I'm really bad with color descriptions too LOL..

Morning Frost is a shimmery, almost metallic taupe color. I'm sure there are many dupes but I just had to have it anyway :P

For Effect is a gunmetal/black with silver glitter. This color is awesome and it's pretty pigmented in one swipe! :) A great base for those smoky looks.

So library blogging has horrible lighting. Especially sitting next to the cloudy window lol. BUT here are swatches anyway in the same order as above.
When we got into the car to head home I snapped a photo of it in the sunlight! I wish I could've captured how BEAUTIFUL all the shades really were but iPhone 3GS photography sucks.
Overall, I was not impressed with this collection! I'm heading back to the counter tomorrow though and maybe I'll get to spend more time with a few more items and it could change my mind... lol :)

Review: Stila In The Light Palette

`Howdyyyy!

I've been on a real neutral palette kick. Starting since the NAKED palette came out. I don't understand why I keep purchasing them but I tell myself it's a different neutral shade and I convince myself each time... *le sigh*

This time around I stopped by Sephora and of course with their stupid lighting the shades were just screaming at me to swatch. The first visit the palette was sold out. The second time still sold out. FINALLY my third try I got my hands on it. I knew this dumb palette wasn't worth the $39 price tag because of the cheap ass material it's made from but when I swatched I fell in love.. PLUS it was such a pain in the ass for me to get a hold of which made me want it more!

Here's the palette and all it's cheapness. It doesn't even have a weight to it. My iPhone is WAYYYYY heavier!

The palette does come with a full size smudge stick in a never before seen shade, damsel. It's a rich dark brown. My lighting didn't capture the brown-ness of the shade too well since once again it's night time!

The shades the palette comes with are all labeled on the back. It's somewhat convenient. Just don't understand why they don't just put it under the shade or something.

So below is a photo of how cheap the packaging it. Everything is held together by a foam piece with nice paper covering to give the illusion of having relatively "nice" packaging. I mean, for $39 I would at least expect the f*cking eyeshadow to stay in place!

I mean it was essentially my fault for sunset to be misplaced like that but it was ONLY a 4 feet drop. I wanted it to move back into place so bad, that's why there's fingernail marks to the left of the eyeshadow. Nothing worked so I just gave up before I caused permanent damage to the eyeshadow. I suppose the foam helped with cushioning the fall but it wouldn't have broke since it wasn't very high and the flooring isn't hard.

Here are some swatches. They're taken without flash and under tungsten lamp lighting so they aren't the best but accurate enough. All swatches are applied with a MAC 239 brush on bare skin, meaning no eyeshadow primer. They're in the same order as listed on the second picture.

All shadows look a lot more pigmented when applied on a base, but I didn't think about it whilst swatching until after I was halfway through. Be weary of over-blending with these shadows otherwise they'll turn up looking muddy.

The palette does include a "look book" of step to step instructions on how to recreate 4 looks.

I personally am not too big of a fan of the looks that are included but they aren't bad, just very basic.

I should've returned this palette while I had the chance, and the receipt. Now that I look back on it, it just isn't worth the $39 I spent on it. If the packaging were a little more sturdy and didn't feel so cheap then I wouldn't be complaining because it does include a full size smudge stick. I don't understand how this product has 4.6 out of 5 stars on sephora.com. One of the only good things about this palette is that it does include a variety of finishes from matte to shimmery to glittery to a satin type of finish.

I wouldn't recommend this to y'all but shade-wise it isn't a bad palette, just the packaging isn't there.

Has anyone tried this and was disappointed?!

Review: MAC Plush Lash Mascara

Hello all!

So I've been trying out MAC Plush Lash mascara for almost a month now and I'm loving it! :)

I feel like it doesn't take too much work to get it to the way I like it so that's a plus and it saves time! This mascara doesn't flake on me either, especially since I've had it sitting in my drawer for about a year before ever cracking it open. The formula is moist, but not overly wet to where it takes foreverrrr and a day to dry.

This mascara only comes in the shade plushblack and it retails for $15USD so it's not totally expensive but I know it's not the usual $7-$8 drugstore price tag, but its definitely not the $25 department store price tag either.

The brush is chunky and short, compared to other volumizing mascaras which usually comes as a chunky long brush. I haven't poked myself in the eye with it yet so I'm satisfied with that :)

Of course, I dislike reviews of products that aren't tested on what it's meant to be used on so here are photos on my lashes. My bare naked lashes are sad excuses so there's no point of even putting a picture of that up :P

I'm kinda making a squinty eye right there in case your wondering lol. I also blurred out the browns of my eyes because I didn't like that you can see the reflection of the background in them XD

I quite like them. My outer lashes are kinda sparse and curve inwards (probably because of the way I sleep since I'm a side sleeper and my face is smashed into the pillow lol) but this mascara handles them pretty well! ^_^

Have you tried this mascara? What are your thoughts on it 'cause I'd like to know :)

Will I repurchase? Definitely will be picking up a tube when I'm done with this one and the other million mascaras I'm trying out :D

Speaking of purchasing, NORDSTROM is having a buy 2, get 1 mascara event. Catch is it has to be from one brand to apply so you could buy Lancome and MAC or another brand and end up with 6 mascaras total. This event will be happening on the last weekend of October or the first weekend of November. I didn't pay close enough attention but if you're interested I could get more details for y'all!

Haul: MAC Hue Lipstick & Lip Swatches

Hello dolls :)

I swung by MAC on Sunday after work to check out the new holiday collection. I'm totally LOVING the white packaging, but the silver glitter ruined it for me -__- lol. I purchased all the paint pots and I'm debating on a brush set or two just because of the random new brushes in there :X

While I was there I brought some of the empty pots to BACK2MAC for a new lipstick :) I ended up getting Hue. I'm trying to steer away from all the limited edition shades now and gear towards permanent stuff :D

MAC Hue Lipstick

The only thing that bugs me about getting a BACK2MAC is I don't get a box!! The way I store my makeup I like to have the box label on top so I don't have to flip it over and look UNDER the lipstick lol. My photo is a little more towards the brown side so sorry about that! This is why I don't like blogging at night but if I didn't then I wouldn't be able to blog at all. Sighh!

MAC Hue Lipstick on Lips

Okay, but this picture makes me mad because everything turned out a little more pink than it should be! UGHH.. lol, but Hue is a sheer nude pink :) I like the lipstick, but I think I'm gonna invest in a more pinky-nude lipliner because when I wear nudes you can never tell where my lipline starts or ends since it's not very prominent which sometimes I like the look.

From my one of my previous posts, [HAUL: Posh Paradise & Styledriven], I purchased the pro longwear lipliner in Nice 'n' Spicy. I finally tried it out on my lips and I love it! Since it's longwearing, it does have that dry, tight feeling to it.

So above is a swatch of it applied all over my lips. It's really matte and does get to the point where it feels uncomfortably dry if you aren't going to put anything on top.

I applied MAC The Faerie Glen (released with Tartan Tale, I think) on top and I like the result of this lipstick more with the lipliner! With nude shades like I mentioned earlier, my lipline sorta disappears and with a straight up nude I feel like it looks like concealer lips. I like how it looks more defined but not overly defined :) Now I can start wearing more nude shades again ^_~!

Do you prefer lipstick with lipliner?

Haul: Posh Paradise & Styledriven

First off, I want to say thank you for all the gals that checked out my blog sale, it was much appreciated! Now I can go and get my passport made so I can flee the country lol...

Since the holidays are swiftly approaching, MAC is coming out with insane amounts of collections. My MAC artist Casey literally calls me in whenever the new shipment comes in since they always get it a week or so early and I get early access :) ...relatively lol.

No hand swatches for these collection. I actually forgot to go early to check out Posh Paradise so I went on release date and she showed me Styledriven and the Matchmaster foundations :) There were SOO many people getting their makeup done... on a Thursday people?! I mean come on, where are you going?!

I purchased 3 items from Posh Paradise and 1 item from Styledriven.

Sorry it's not the best lighting, I'm trying to use the tungsten lamp lighting since it's night time.

I've actually used Nubile but the one I photographed is the extra one I got for my friend. It's a beautiful nude with pink undertones with a shimmery, slightly metallic finish. Great for evening out the lid before eyeshadow application and the shimmers aren't too obvious on the lids versus swatching it on the hand.

Genuine Treasure is like the paint pots that were released with ChamPale in terms of texture and I was obsessed with those! The color is like a antique gold/bronzey color and would be great used as an all over lid color if you're in a hurry and don't have time for blending. It's chunky shimmer gives enough sparkle so that it's not completely boring either.

Nice 'n' Spicy Pro Longwear Lip Pencil

I haven't used Nice 'n' Spicy yet but from the swatch on the back of my hand it's a neutral lipliner that's darker than my skintone so that my nude lipsticks just don't disappear and you can tell where my lipstick starts. I've been needing a neutral lipliner so I'm very excited to use this! Plus it's super long wearing because NONE of the swatches from Styledriven and the Posh Paradise's mattenes would come off the back of my hand.

Eden Rouge Mattene Lipstick

Is this another red lipstick to add to my collection?! Why yes, but Eden Rouge is different! It's actually not too drying for the amount of time it stays on my lips. (Which is almost the full day with minimal touch-up.) This lipstick never once got on my teeth when I wore it! It didn't slip or slide, but it did start to feather at the end of the day which I won't blame the lipstick since I didn't use any lipliner. I am really considering going back for more mattenes to add to my makeup collection since it was such a success with me.

Here's a photo a took shortly after I applied Eden Rouge. It's a very vivid red color with a little sheen :)

Now here it is after I chomped down some food! I thought I was ready to head out for the day but I realized I didn't eat yet so I had to scarf down what I could find. I saw lipstick coming off on the bread from my sandwich and some on the banana I ate so I didn't expect it to be on after I finished (although I was being careful) but to my surprise it was nearly fully in-tact!

See! That's why I was so impressed because most of my reds after I eat kinda just start to disappear. Plus it stayed on the entire day with minimal problems for me ^_~

What's your favorite red lipstick?

OKAYYY. So I don't haul as much as I used to, and I'm proud & glad so sorry it's not as visualizing like my hauls used to be lol. I've also got a crush on Deborah Lippman now but if I start seeing her I think my wallet is gonna hurt badly 'cause she's a gold digger. I'll show you the new nail polish I got soon! It's boring and I feel like I have something similar but the formula was so nice I couldn't resist. This is why they shouldn't have testers.

Haul & Review: MAC Me Over

Hello everyone!

I've recently hauled some stuff from MAC.. like release date last thursday recent lol. I wanted to give everything a test run before I tell y'all about it! Of course here's the haul photo!

Sorry it's not the best photo, I'm still iPhone blogging because now my camera is missing.

MAC Moleskin Eyeshadow

Deborah Lippman Today Was A Fairytale Nail Lacquer
MAC 211 (with two more on the way)
MAC 226 (two of them)

I love the eyeshadow, it works the same as MAC Soft Brown but it has more of a cool tone to it.

The blush is absolutely gorgeous, but it's not a "must have" because I'm sure I have like 10 more shades similar to this in my stash. I really wanted to get Equilibrium but I'm not sure if I would ever use it.

The nail polish is heaven, if you love yourself some glitter! With only one coat the glitter transfers lovely. Likeeee, you wouldn't need 3 billion coats to get an opaque glitter finish. It's on the pricier side though (of $20!) and is a pain in the ass to remove.

The 211 brush is AMAZINGGGG. It's the BEST eyeliner brush I've used! It's amazing when I use it with my Bobbie Brown Gel Eyeliner. I haven't used it yet with a liquid liner but I can imagine it'd be even better! It's very easy to create the thinnest line or you can easily build on it and create a thick line and it makes winging eyeliner a piece of cake! I've noticed my wings are almost identical whenever I use this brush :) ...thus why I love it so much I've ordered two more to keep as back ups LOL..

The 226 brush is also a great brush! In my opinion I'd probably prefer the 217 for crease work still but if you want a really precise darkened crease this is perfect. It's fine tapered tip helps blend colors in effortlessly and gives you great precision control. I already own one of these so I just got two more in case it's dirty or if I ever lose one.

Overall the collection was a really good one. It has dark and neutral colors with some purples in the mix. I think everyone could benefit from this release and find something they like... which could be bad for one's wallet! It didn't rape my wallet as bad as I thought though ^_^ I leave you with some swatches...

Hey gals! I was gonna post my haul but I haven't had time to make some swatches so that's gonna wait. Plus I wanted to do haul/review of the quality also ^_~

Here's a quick post. I'm sitting in the AT&T store waiting for my boyfriend to do his phone thing and I got bored. I've been admiring my nails since I've painted them last night LOL! It's the first pink nail polish I've purchased in a while. It's OPI Hopelessly In Love paired with an HK decal from sephora.

Illamasqua base coat + 2 coats of OPI Hopelessly In Love + Seche Vite results in this...
It's a beautiful soft pink that almost matches my purse! I'm really in love with it and it wasn't super opaque on the second coat so I feel like it gets that jelly look ;) or it might just be my imagination lol.

I used the camera+ app to add the blurred effect in case some of you were looking for a somewhat photo editing program for the iPhone.

On a side note, I went and got cupcakes today! I've only ate one so far (red velvet) and it was delicious! Can't wait to get home and try the rest ;)
They look so scrumptious! And all five were only $12.50! A heck of a lot cheaper than sprinkles for sure. ;)

hello all!

I finally had a chance to paint my nails the other day because I had a day off from work. Because I have to constantly wash my hands at work my nail polish chips off so easily that I feel like it's a waste of time sometimes so then I get super lazy but I know it's not a waste because I love to paint my nails so I'm trying to get back in the habit! :)

Short intermission from the Cheesecake Factory. If you're a facebook friend I'm sure you've seen my food pictures lol. We finally got to dress up together in a while so I really like this picture :) Plus it was daylight and surprisingly good for a iPhone picture! I did brighten it up a little bit on photoshop.

I purchase a little set from Ulta which was an inspired by Serena Williams theme. (I think it was Serena. Just one of the Williams sister okay!) It was about $14 but I saw it on sale the other day for about $10 -____- SIGHH!

Servin' Up Sparkle | Your Royal Shine-ness

I applied the shiny silver color on first with only one coat since it was pretty opaque and I was going to layer it. I then used two coats of the glitter polish.

It was that pretty holographic sparkle to it :) ooh I love the glitter topcoat! I think the possiblities will be endless in the future xD

Lastly, I leave you with my son! If you've been following my blog for over a year now you'll see how small he was. He's already got four teeth in and learned how to walk and say the dogs name... awwhhh :) ...and if you've been following for a long time you'll know it's my nephew ^_^

BUT I do look like his mother right?! Same skin tone, his hair goes to the same side, same nose, same mole on our arm in the same spot, and the same stupid thin top lip :P

OOTD: 'Cause I'm a Window Shopper

Hello all!

Somewhat an outfit of the day post.. LOL, I went [window] shopping yesterday because I am broke but I had to make a run to MAC for an empty palette so I can finally depot some eyeshadows since they're getting no love in the pots :(

I had to make the trip worth it because it was a FAR drive so the boyfriend and I spent almost 5 hours there shopping ;)

I just grabbed a bunch of clothes and thought what the heck, I'll try to put some outfits together. Mind you, I am not a fashionable person and just like to wear what's comfortable. Too many pieces and then I'm confused what to do with it so I'll keep this simple!

OUTFIT 1

Express shirt | Express shorts

I really liked the fit of the shirt so I'm gonna go back for it when I get paid! I just wished they had a red color :(

Shorts however were too big. I tried on a size 4 and they were massive, size 2 were still loose, but I didn't bother asking the lady to get me a size 0 because I wasn't going to purchase anything :X

The shirt fits really nicely on me and is super comfy! I may go back for this too when I get paid but I'm not completely sold yet because of the color selection. I would want this in a deep purple shade or a deep pink shade. Something a little more bold and not so pastel-like.

Shorts were also a size 4, huge again but these were a little more forgiving in looks lol. They're a dark charcoal shade although the lighting doesn't agree. If the price wasn't so steep on these I'd consider buying them but I'd rather go with something cheaper at forever 21 although these feel like they'd last a long time.

I think express really nails the ruffle shirts. They're not too small yet it's not too big. The material they use also drapes really nicely and the way the style of the shirts are also compliments the ruffles! I really liked this one too, plus I like shirts that aren't short since I feel like my torso is longer than other peoples.

OUTFIT 4

Gap Dress

I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS DRESS! :) I would've gotten it if it weren't for the steep $70 price tag. Plus I have a closer gap to me so I could always go back for it. I tried on a size 2 and it looked a little big. The lady went and got me a size 0 and it fits like a dream! It has a small elastic waistband that cinches your waistline giving you shape although it's very loose and flowy. There's also a ruffle-type thing that goes down one side but you can't tell in the picture, more of an in person type of thing.

I do notice that in the stock picture it looks shorter. Guess that's where my stubby asian legs kick in LOL. Still a great dress because the fabric seems very nice and that it'll last a long time!

Urban Outfitters Dress

I took my bra off to try this dress on and it still looks a little snug around my chest! I could've opted for a medium instead of a small but again I wasn't buying anything. I had trouble zipping the dress up on my own so it's halfway zipped in the photo lol. It's cute but it's cuter on the hanger type of dress for me.

I tried to find this on the website but no luck! Sorry :(

Urban Outfitters Dress

A very unflattering picture of my legs LOL. Yes, I have huge fat girl legs but not so fat body!? I don't understand how they got so big -_- ... lol.

I didn't wear a bra for this dress either. The strap detailing was sooo pretty but they're unadjustable so it ended up loose on me since I'm lacking on the bust area :P I think if there were only 3 straps instead of 4 it would've fit better too! The back has snap 4 or 5 snap closures and then there's a bra-like hook closure for the very top. I thought the back was gorgeous but too bad I didn't get a photo of it! Also, it's not on the website :(

This dress was really nice, if there weren't so many flaws with it I would totally consider a future purchase!

That's basically it for the outfits! I tried on a few more at urban outfitters but they didn't look so good so I just didn't take a picture. Went to forever 21 and there were so many people so I was like "forget it I'm leaving!"

FOTD: Dad's birthday

Hey gals :) So I'm done with summer classes and my boyfriend is heading out tomorrow night for business and I think I'll have some time to blog this weekend ^_^

So here's a quick neutral look (yenno, they look like all my other neutral ones -__-") I wore to my friend Gap's birthday dinner. He turned the big... was it 25 or 26? Who knows, but we call him Dad because he's the oldest lol. We also made him a penis birthday cake. (white cake with pink frosting!)

And the reason I'm about to bust out laughing in the picture above is because of this LOSER...

2011 Sucks....

Hey gals!

Sorry for being MIA again but I've started a summer one class and lately money has been tight so I gotta work my ass off and get nothing in return! -_-" even worse my phone recently got stolen at the mall with all my lecture materials on it :( ....had to replace that too! Grr... And we just got into ANOTHER car accident that wasn't our fault again today. Yes, that's right, another one as if the one on my birthday wasn't bad enough!

Spring 2011 was really sucky too because I transferred to a university from a community college and price of tuition totally killed me!! D: with all that being said, I haven't been splurging on any makeup and been paying ridiculous amounts for premium gas and oil changes! Ugh, 2011 sucks!!!

I will be posting up items on the blog sale soon because I am really in need of money and need to get this stuff out of my room anyway so hope some of you are interested in some of the items and will help me out!

Hello! I know, it's been a long time and I definitely miss blogging but life is just too interesting to pass up right now :)

Apply your base color!

I'm using Mermaid's Tears, obviously.

Apply the crackle to select fingers.

I applied it to my ring and thumb :)

Since the crackle leaves an ugly, matte, not long lasting finish we're going to apply a top coat!

I'm using northern lights today, just to be fancy ;P

It gives a beautiful holographic effect and it was only $3!! :D

Here's a somewhat better picture of it. It's really hard to photograph >_<

Bought the set at Nordstrom for $30. It's a bit expensive but to me it's better to get three minis than buy three full size for $20 a pop.

I was too excited when I bought them today so I painted then really quick at the library while I was studying. These were two coats!

I know I have tons of nail polishes and I'm not gonna lie, some I have not even used. I don't really like to buy the full size since I do only wear them about 3x max so that's why you see the mini sizes.

All the China Glazes are bought from an online retailer so don't worry, I didn't spend too much money on them. OPI ones are from Ulta that I had a free coupon for so I never really paid for those anyway. (Plus, I don't like OPI especially because of their new "pro" brush. It's a pain in the ass for me to use.) Unfortunately, I did pay for those Essie polishes but only during their sales at Ulta. Most of the Sephora by OPI I have are minis, but out of the full size ones I've only paid for the sparkly gold one and even then I got it on sale, lol. I paid for all the miscellaneous polishes since they are mainly drugstore and Orgasm came in a set.

I did buy the MAC polishes at full price but I would only buy one or two at a time so that doesn't seem like such a plunge. I am a FAN of MAC formula but I know a lot of people don't like it although I don't see why. I got the Urban Decay set off of Hautelook so it only cost $20 and I only really bought it for 3 shades that I really liked from swatches I saw. I am a HUGE fan of the Illamasqua base coat!!! It's really LOVE for my nails. Seche Vite is really the only top coat I use but I do notice that it does get dull after a week from all the wear and tear I go through. Lastly, the nail striper polishes! I finally found some when I went to the dollar store so I got them to try out. I fiddled around with them but I don't think I'm cut out for nail art ~~ unfortunately.

Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Strips Review

Happy February!! If you eat Subway, for the whole month of February all footlongs (excluding the Philly) are $5! ^_^ Just wanted to let you all know.. lol. Onto what this post is really about. I've recently purchased some nail enamel strips from my local Walmart! These babies cost me $8.50, from Walmart so I'd expect it to be more expensive elsewhere.

Actually, I was drunk at a New Years Eve party and this girl and I were taking shots of Jack Daniels. After the shot, I noticed her nails! I was like OMG, where did you get those done?! (She was wearing the lace ones I purchased.) She's like, I did them myself so of course I was like HUHH... Then she told me about the nail enamel strips and she got them at Walmart. Of course she was super intoxicated so it wasn't super easy to follow as I put it but since I've seen something similar to these on blogs I kinda figured out what she meant, lol.

Then when I was working the next week, this Walmart chick came in and she had a houndstooth design on her nails! I complimented her and she actually explained where she got it and what aisle they were in. I didn't know they were Sally Hansen brand and I didn't realize how small the packaging was (literally, it's a tiny little rectangular box) so when I went to go look I was like "oh no, they don't have them here!" Then Jon looks too, and he's like "ARE THESE IT?"... Then of course I got super excited because he found them for me LOL..

I forgot to take a picture of the stuff inside the box that I missed, but here they are just laid out.

You get:

2 packs of nail enamel stickers which includes 8 pieces in each one. (one pack for each hand)
wood stick
nail buffer
instruction pamphlet

When you open the packages of the stickers, you get this overwhelming smell of nail polish. It disappears pretty quickly after opening though. The largest size was too big and the smallest size was too small but overall they all fit pretty well onto my nail bed. The curvatures and stuff where my nails start growing don't exactly line up 100% but they don't look bad either.

I did apply the nail enamel stickers to a 'just cleaned with nail polish remover' finger. I felt that the stickers would just lift up off my nails so I sealed it off with Seche Vite top coat and it definitely helped make it feel more secure.

I do use my nails/hands/fingers aggressively when I work. I spent two days washing sinkloads of dishes, and at my other job my nails are almost constantly wet and being bent. My jobs definitely help make my nails chip madd crazy and sometimes I end up biting on a nail or something.

I don't think there was too much chipping besides the right middle finger but that's because I was biting it, lol. I did notice that I ended up applying it on my nail bed crooked on my left thumb once my nail started to grow out.

I'd definitely repurchase the Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Strips again because they're an instant perk me up for your nails without waiting for the dry time and blah, blah, blah! ^_^ Plus these last longer on my nails versus regular nail polish.

FOTD: Burning Sunset

I put this look together after class on Friday while I was waiting to go to work. It's something I haven't worn in a while; COLOR! :) I was inspired by the new Benefit blush "bella bamba". The box is composed of orange and purple and it just dances in the light! I'll make a post about the blush another day, but tonight is just this!

Sorry it looks a little harsh/unblended. I couldn't figure out what color to put in between the orange and purple and I didn't want to over-blend because it might get muddy. It looks really pretty far away and I got tons of compliments on it at work from customers. I'm glad I put on some color and hopefully this 'inspiration' will stay! ^_^

1-Which lipstick/ lip gloss did you use most often in 2010?
MAC Cutester Lipstick! I've been trying to finish this tube of lipstick all year but I've found that I'm super lazy to re-apply lipstick so none of my lipsticks have gone down all year -__-"... but this one has a little bit! Plus I really hate how the lipstick squishes so easily and I just wanna get rid of it, although it really is a pretty shade :) Other than lipstick, I've been really getting into lip balms this year! My favorite is the Jack Black in the Natural Mint flavor.

2-What was your favorite eyeshadow this year?
I used mainly neutral eyeshadows this year. I haven't really fell back in love with colors yet.. or maybe there's not enough inspiration.. or I'm just short on time?!?! Lol, but the palette I turned to most was the Urban Decay Naked palette and the Too Faced Naked Eye palette that I purchase a few months ago during their sale!

3-What product for the complexion (foundation, blush, etc.,) did you use the most?
I LOVE the NARS Sheer Glow Foundation! (I really need to make a review soon.) I also enjoy using the Make Up For Ever HD Foundation. Blush wise, I really love the MAC Stereo Rose Mineralized Skinfinish or Benefit Coralista Blush and I always set my makeup everyday with the Make Up For Ever HD Powder. I swear one small jar lasts a little over a year for me! SOOOO worth the investment.

4-Your favorite nail polish color of 2010?
Didn't have a specific shade as a favorite, but this year I really enjoyed the taupe-type of colors! Either that, or anything from Essie. I think they're slowly becoming my favorite nail polish brand. They would be my favorite if only I could find them online for cheap (like China Glaze).

5-Which skin care product would you not give up under any circumstances?
I can never skip a day of eyecream (no favorites at the moment) or a day without putting SkinMD on my face! The current eyecream I'm trying out is the Caudalie Pulpe Vitaminée Eye and Lip Cream. Body wise, I can't go a day without putting lotion on because I have super dry skin I inherited from my father's side unfortunately!

I also can't bear to go a day without washing my face with Philosophy Purity Made Simple. It just keeps my face nice and clear :)

6-What is your favorite personal care product?
I can't live without my emjoi epilator! No picture of that because I always misplace this thing. I use it to epilate my underarms because I can't afford to wax and shaving doesn't last long enough for me! I've tried it on my legs and I use it there from time to time and then shave off the super small baby hairs. It also works wonders for my arms but I noticed I haven't been epilating that area for a while now.

7- Your usually worn fragrance in 2010?
I'm not big on scents so I don't really own any perfumes, but with my recent "sniffings" I found that I really like Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue and I've always been fond of Diesel Fuel For Life for Women but I've never purchased it.

8-What was your personal favorite jewelry piece?
I'm also not a big jewelery person either -- lol, I'm just boring I guess -- but when I do wear jewelery it's from Julu Jewelry or eki love! (Mainly earrings.) I do enjoy to wear my Forever 21 connector ring. It's just a solid gold bar and I feel it's very simple yet edgey :)

9-What have you discovered in 2010 that is new for you (new products, inspirations, blogs, hobbies, etc.,)?
I didn't really venture out much in 2010. I tried new products but none really stood out to me. There were no inspirations (unfortunately) and I haven't read any new blogs lately because I just don't really click away, lol. I guess a new "hobby" I do now is drinking tea! I've never drank tea before so it's really new to me but I don't think you'd consider it a hobby :P

10- Do you have resolutions for 2011? If so, what are they?
My resolution for 2011 is to not spend money on useless makeup I won't be using. It's hard to say no to my MAC makeup ladies but I really think I'm cured of impulsion! I guess it's okay once in a blue moon, but not everytime I see new stuff.

My other resolution is more school related -- stop/cut down on procrastination! I'm the queen of procrastination and since it's my first year at a university and taking full time SERIOUS classes, I've really got to buckle down and concentrate. Plus I need to get my priorities straight!

11-Tag other people:
I don't know who to tag because I've basically seen everyone on my blogroll do this tag already! I think I am the last (or near last) to do this so if you haven't done it, do it! :D

My mother asked me to take care of the nephew today while she started on some dinner since my sister was going to be late picking him up. I'm a lazy aunt. I sat there and watched youtube with him sitting in my lap... and I didn't even have to hold him!!! *SCORE*... lol, he's such a joy to watch. Never fussy and doesn't need attention! Who could've asked for anything more :)

He started screaming and I picked him up. Next thing I knew he fell asleep on my shoulder-ish area! I didn't even notice until I realized he wasn't wiggling anymore LOL... drooled all over my shoulder too but it's okay, it dried up in no time!

STYLISHLY YOURS - EYE LOOK

Hello! A quick post tonight... By the way, I updated my blogsale! The link is above this post on my blog ^_^

I was playing around with my pigments I got from Stylishly Yours (click for the post) and this is the look I came up with :)

No full face shots because my face is super oily. I like this combo, but I wish I would've put a white base underneath so that the pink was more vibrant.

I used the hot pink pigment all over the lid, the orange pigment in the crease, and the red pigment on the outer corner with just a matte off-white highlight. I think bright colors look great with a sharply winged liner so of course I went with it but no lashes since I was just messing around and I'm not going anywhere :P

BENEFIT FEMME METALE REVIEW & SWATCHES

Two posts in one week?!?! Yes, I feel motivated! It's partially due to the fact that I can't sleep right now because my back is killing me since it's that time of the month. I swear it just crept up on me this month, so unexpected!

If you're a long reader of my blog, you'll know I love to buy sets that are a good value! I recently purchased the Benefit Femme Metale set from Sephora a couple of weeks ago for $28. Benefit really likes to price things at $28 whether it's one blush, a liquid highlighter, or even a gift set but it says it's original price was $38. Either way that's a good value too with what you're getting in the set! You can find it here at sephora. Online it says it's not in stock anymore but when I went to purchase it in store they had more than enough so I'd probably check there if you're interested in purchasing.

Here's what to look for when purchasing in-store. It's a small box so it might be easy to overlook.

When you take off the clear plastic... I guess box cover???... all the items are held inside with some spongey material. At first try it was a challenge to remove but luckily I had to the help of my co-worker! (Yes I opened this at work lol.. and I tried out the products there too.)

This set contains:

3 x 0.16oz Creaseless Cream Eyeshadows
3 x 0.04oz Eyeliners

You're getting 3 full sized cream eyeshadows (which normally retails for $19 each) and 3 mini pencils to try out! I'd say that's a great deal. Plus the liners really won't budge for anything! Well, maybe if you're attacking it with makeup remover but that's a given.

However, these cream eyeshadows differs from their original ones when it comes to packaging. The name of the shade is actually on the top of the lid versus being on the bottom on a clear label. Either way it doesn't matter to me because I keep them stored sideways so I don't see either side when I'm choosing a shade to use.

Platinum is a metallic white
Plum-ing for Gold is a metallic plum
Taupe-aztic is a metallic golden-beige (On my skin and in the pot it appears to be a simple gold shade instead of 'taupe' like the name says.)
Gem-n-Eye is a golden olive with shimmer
Steel Her Date is a steel blue
Blinged is a silver

Also if you've been a long reader of this blog, you know I'll hardly (more like never) post swatches of products! Reason being is because it always looks too washed out or I'll write up a review at night so there's no natural light to take a non-flash photo in... or usually I'm too lazy. Today I am writing this up in the morning and last night I discovered a setting on my camera that really doesn't wash out the colors so I give you... SWATCHES!

The paint pots is the highlight of this collection for me! I really love bases like this :) These paint pots are very different from the usual MAC paint pots. Some reason they seem more like the Asian Cream Shadows because they're more glittery and sheer although the color is definitely buildable!

I couldn't turn down the pigments I didn't own because I am a pigment collector! I haven't really touched them or the ones from Venomous Villains but I just love using pigments. The highlight powder is really nice too. The shimmers aren't too chunky and not overly shimmery. I use it to highlight my cheekbones when I wear pink or peach blush!

I also really like the eye liner too! It's a nice precision highlighter with no brushes necessary to use ^_^. Just need your fingers to blend it in. The TLC is pretty much my backup for the Feelin' Good one because it's the same color but I'm not too fond of the scent so hopefully when I whip it out I'll adjust to it.

WET&WILD HOLIDAY PALETTES

Hello girls! My, oh my has it been a minute! I've got great news :)... well great for me but I don't know about you. My mom just got out of surgery today and this is the last week of the fall semester so after this week I'm going to be so relieved and not stressed anymore! *PHEW* Also, I am not taking any wintermesters this year so I'll have some time for real updates (hopefully).

I will start you off with a picture of me & my boyfriend. We were at one of my girlfriend's birthday dinner on the freezing cold rooftop! That was a CRAZY night. My friends (2) got high, my other friend (1) had a hit and run.. on her fault, my other other friend (1) got mistaken identity for causing a fight, then my other other other friends (5) got their car searched. LOL, it was a fun but crazy night and my boyfriend got super drunk and threw up everywhere and I got harassed by some dude. GROSS... Anyway, here we are before all the alcohol! ^_^

I'm wearing Kat Von D Painted Lipstick in.... (forgot the name but it's a slightly deep red). Lasting power is very good and I only had to touch up after dinner from the pesto I had and then one time at the club! It was a little drying but that might be because I didn't apply any gloss over it and I tried not to lick my lips so that it'll last longer, lol.

I recently picked up the Wet&Wild holiday palettes. I had to go to 2 different Walgreens to find these and I got the last ones! :D I already own the four other palettes they have so I knew these were super pigmented before I even bought them. These are well-worth the $4.99 I spent and apparently my Walgreens didn't keep the 50% sale because it was "limited edition". GRR, what the fuck!! Whatever though it was still really cheap :)

MAC VENOMOUS VILLAINS HAUL + WEBCAM SHOT

Howdy y`all :)

No I really don't say that in person though. I think I would sound like a ditzy "valley" girl trying to say that... haha, you've all heard my voice right? ^_^

Today I'm featuring my SUPER late Venomous Villains haul from MAC Cosmetics. I went and got it on September 30 and my MAC ladies threw in this free patent leather purse/tote-ish thing. It sounded cooler over the phone but in person... it was like "holy crap that's shiny!" I think I will just keep it in my room to hold things :)

I got all the nail polishes (left to right; bad fairy, formidable, and mean&green), pigments (push the edge, brash&bold), the cruella lipstick (heartless), magically cool liquid powder (truth&light), and a beauty powder blush (briar rose).

Not too many things, but I still spend a shitload lol.

Here's a sneak peek at my makeup station! ^_^ the top-right drawer of my MALM is filled with makeup. It starting to topple over so now I gotta reorganize and sell some away :( BOO! I'll do my collection video one day.. soon hopefully?

HELLO! I've been gone for a while now... a month and a half I think?? I've been swamped with school (sorta) but since I got bored for 2 days out of my week I picked up a second job at a local Subway! I was Princess Peach! My boyfriend was Mario but he was already dj-ing at a party and I got totally drunk when I got there so we didn't get a picture. This is a look I did between the time I've been gone from blogging and currently. I'm sure it was before it started to cool down in Texas because I'm sporting a tank top!

In this look, I used MAC Zingy Eyeshadow (on the outer V) from the Dare to Wear collection from wayyy back when! The color is so GORGEOUSS... but what other looks can I do with it??? It's so bright, and blue!

Please excuse the broken lip! That's why there's no lipstick because I was wearing lip balm :)

I wore this look out to my friend's birthday dinner. It was simple because it was just a bunch of neutrals but dramatic because of the smokiness and lashes :D btw, I'm wearing the same lashes as the previous look which are ardell demi wispies :) my favorite!

Nothing on my lips once again because I was still at home and haven't put anything on yet! I think I just threw on some nudy pink lipgloss :)!

I used MAC Naked Pigment & NARS Mekong Eyeshadow and a whole sheeetload of blending lol. Not so sure about the highlight but I know it's a matte off-white shade ^_^

NEW ADDITION + SOME FOTDS

Hello lovelies! I'm going to show you the newest addition to my family today! (Not my kiddo.. but I'm the auntie lol)

Here's Mr. Andrew Arthur S.! This is him on his second day in this world.. he's such a cutie!

I can gladly say I haven't changed any of his diapers yet LOL.. not planning to for a while. He doesn't even like it when I try to feed him so I don't try changing his diapey.. HE MIGHT PEE ON ME!

That's his father and him. super cute but a little dangerous because they're sleeping on the couch while the mommy finally got to party!!

Anywho, enough of this celebration of the kiddo... onto the makeup parts of this blog :P Here's some looks I've done and have been sitting on my camera. I finally get to post them up ^_^

In the photo above, we were getting ready to go to Fat Daddy's in downtown Fort Worth for a night out. Coincidentally there was the Beastie Boys Tribute Band performing that night. HAHA, those old guys shoulda been home sleeping or something!

But enough making fun of them, I was really digging the red lip. I'm wearing the L'oreal Infallible Lipcolour in Beyonce. OMG... it's so GORGEOUS!! I want to go get a backup or two of it because I take like 3 years to apply it and it might get dried out before I can finish the tube :(

Okay, this look is from the same day but just wearing a different lip color. I REALLY love the lipstick I'm wearing! Can you gals guess what shade it is?? :) Well, in case you're wondering.. it's MAC Jazzed Lipstick! It's sooo pretty but I'm sorry I'm telling you this now because you can't really find it anymore :(

I wore this the other day when I went to pick up my paycheck. One of the homies was like.. "ooh, I like your makeup! It's blue right?" I was like.. thanks at first then I'm like are you blind little dude?! It's BLACK.. lol. Can you believe that the eyemakeup (excluding mascara) in this look was less than $5!? Man.. it was actually less than $4.50 LOL.. More about that in an upcoming post ^_^

And I'm also super bronzed in the look because of the NARS Orgasm Illuminator or whatever it's called. I mixed it in with my foundie and this was the result! It's really glowy in person but DAMN, I don't wanna look super bronzed too :( I usually just add it to the higher planes of my face now :D

OKAY.. I have a temptu airbrush session I got done the other day! OMG.. when the friends and family sale comes around, that's where my cash is going! ^_^ That ishh is amazingggg! I'm seeing tons of makeup collection posts going around so that's really inspiring me to actually getting to posting my pictures... plus I've got a tag from Linda to do which I think I'm actually going to do right this time and tag people.

FOTD: DEEP BERRY LIPS + SOFT SMOKY PINK EYES

YO! :) So this post sounds like one FOTD... but actually there's two! ^_^ I was feeling a little edgy one day before class so I decided to use my MAC Night Violet that I purchased from style black last year. It's gorgeous... but vampy colors are too edgy to wear out for me lol.

Sorry about the MASK.. it really looks crazy because I've tanned so much this summer (unintentionally of course!) that my foundie looks crazy! I should've attacked it with my beautyblender... but I didn't realize it until the pictures were uploaded :( SORRY EVERYONE! I hate seeing people with different faces and necks LOL..

Here it is.. again excuse my face/neck! *doh..

I wish I wore some falsies with this look! GRR.. oh well.

Here's my soft smoky pink look :) I was playing around with the MERCURIAL MES I got from the look in a box. Color is super gorgeous! I thought it would've turned out more purpley than pink but I guess it's not a color I have in my collection so it all worked out. Let me tell you though.. fall out was crazy!

I also did this look before class and wanted to try the "no upper lash liner" look. temptalia always sports it so I decided to and I think she pulls it off WAYY better! lol, if only my lashes were full and lush :(

I'm also wearing my NARS Oasis blush that steph got me! ^_^ so gorgeous BUT I overapplied at first and it took forever to blend out! lol, be careful with these NARS blushes... they're hella pigmented.

On my lips I'm wearing Bare Escentuals Buxom lipstick in amsterdamn and I topped it off with their buxom lipgloss in dolly. SUPER pretty and natural! For some reason the lipstick is minty too ^_^ ... oh and that sheen on my face is the stupid MES fallout! lol

SECRET ANGEL.. STEPH!

Howdy! So I participated in the secret angel/secret devil gift exchange this summer hosted by Linda. Lucky me I got Steph as my secret angel.

Of course she's an angel, what else could she be?! She was super sweet to get me some things that I've been wanting to get for the LONGEST time ever but I just never got to buying them. I was super stoked to get the package that I opened it at work! LOL!

Lily of France satchel! That's a bra brand, am I correct?! lol, angel with a seductive side :P okay, just kidding.. I don't think that was what she was aiming for haha.

The packaging was soooooo pretty! All the cooks were watching me open all these goodies.. lol, they're probably like what?! MORE makeup.... are you serious?!

NAILS, HAUL: GRADIENT ATTEMPT #1 + FABULOUS FELINES

HOLY CRAP! Its been almost two weeks! I was going to post last week but I got really busy and life got in the way... yeah :) but here I am now! I actually have another couple of posts planned so hopefully I'll have time to type it up! ^_^

I tried doing a gradient nail design the other day! :D I actually took this picture like 2-3 days later as you can see my nail is already growing out! :(

What do you think? I used all sephora by opi nail polishes. No clue on the names but if you really wanna know just ask and I'll look! lol

Here's all my MAC goodies I hauled from fabulous felines! I was really looking forward to this collection but it was sorta meh... I spent a lot only because I got the quad, pigments, and blushes! The eyeliners were AMAZING... but where in the hell would I wear colored eyeliner?!?! Well I mean I would, but how often would it occur? lol but anywho, I'll maybe go back for the black, purple, blue, silver, and gold.. we'll see :)

So here's the quad I got! It's the palace pedigreed quad I was loving the swatches on temptalia but I guess on my skintone and undertone they just don't work :( This is going back to mac and I'll probably exchange it for something in a newer collection ^_^ Smart ehh?

Above is utterly game mineralized blush. It's soooo pretty! Below is pet me mineralized blush. It's also gorgeous :P

I guess I just fell in love with blushes since I finally figured out how to apply them :P

The pigments I got were Lithe, Antique Green, and Bloodline. All were LE so I just went ahead and grabbed these first since the permanent ones will be there for a while.

Lithe is LOVE.... I love that color! Bloodline turned out looking better than I had anticipated. I'll post up my look I did with it later but for now just trust me :)

And these were from the Jin Soon Choi F/W '10 nail polish launch. I purchased Earthly Harmony and Jade Dragon. (that's what they're called right??) Both are gorgeous because one is muted which is how I like my nail polishes and the other one is like a tealish glitter inside :D BEAUTIFUL!!!

Well, that concludes my hauls for now.. I'm gonna post up my secret angel/devil by Friday because LINDA is so anxious to read it! I was so excited because no one told me I had mail so the next morning I was like WTF I GOTTA GO TO WORK! So I go eff this, I'm taking this to work with me LOL... man those guys at work were like... why the hell you taking pictures of makeup for?!?! xD

Howdy everyone! :) Long time no see? Ahh... but I have been hauling while I've been gone! LOL... this will be a massive haul post since the last time I've posted any hauls :D No swatches because honestly there's too many things to swatch!

But first... my face! haha, I've been totally neutral since I've been gone. Yeah, I think I'm done with colors.. or just the fact that there's no time to really get ready and wearing neutrals is a no brainer ;D

No clue what I'm wearing so no questions please! I don't even remember where I was going that day...

Everything is in random order of what items I picked up to take pictures of so some are from so long ago that they are not available anymore on the MAC website since they're limited edition!

MAC Look in a Box.. the first time I've purchased one! I think It's a pretty good deal since you get 5 full sized items for almost $60.

I purchased Frisky Girl which comes with Mercurial MES, Zoom Fast Black Lash Mascara, Pretty Baby BPB, Well Dressed Blush, and Nymphette LG.

I've always wanted Pretty Baby BPB when it released with Hello Kitty but I'm glad I got it now! :) And since I watched one of Ingrid's videos (from youtube) I've always wanted Well Dressed Blush and the other items were just great to have also ^_^

I wasn't going to get Stereo Rose MSF since I was there and totally skipped it when I went to get other IN THE GROOVE items but when I saw the way it looks on medium skin I knew I wanted it! Luckily the MAC website had it restocked when I wanted it lol :) Lucky me I guess!

I want to start collecting pigments now... I really like the new packaging ^_^

From IN THE GROOVE, I bought two of the MES, Blue My Mind and Togetherness. I'm not a big fan of togetherness so if anyone's interested I'll give it up for $14 with shipping included. This is how it looks after I've used it.

*drumrolls* Urban Decay NAKED Palette! How I love thee, I almost bought a backup but then I said why the hell would I need one since I know I'll never finish it! :)

Super hard to get my grubby hands on this when it released, but I got an email from Urban Decay they'll keep making more until it stays in stock so everyone still has an opportunity to get one ^_^

Benefit Stay Put Set. I really like the cream shadow since I've always wanted the full size one but the baby size will do! Concealer is really creamy and emollient. The primer, I'm not so sure I'm sold on that so I'm glad I didn't jump at it when it came out. This is $10 at sephora.

Stila It Girl Eyeshadow Palette. Or I think that's what it's called.. lol :X Comes with 3 shimmery shades. It's great if you like shimmery neutral shadows but I wish there would've been a not so shimmery shade in the set. This is also $10 at sephora.

NARS Smudgeproof Eyeshadow Primer. I tried the small sample size from my 100-point perk and I really liked it! It's much smaller than Urban Decay Primer Potion and costs more but it's okay, at least I know I'll be able to finish this bottle lol.

Smith's Rosebud Salve in a tube. This was a filler to add into my basket to get free shipping for my NAKED palette hehe.. I'm glad I got it because I keep it on my nightstand and put it on before I sleep. Makes my lips super soft in the morning ^_^

New lippies from MAC! From left to right: Jazzed, Hellraiser, Glaringly Hip. All are super beautiful but Jazzed doesn't look so cute when you got peach fuzz going on haha!

I just loveee the alice+olivia packaging. FYI, it slides out so there's regular mac packaging underneath.

I got I Want Candy dazzleglass creme. It's like a yellowy-greenish color. Not wearable by itself but you can layer them to change your lipstick shade. More of an item I'm collecting than trying to use lol.

MAC Superflash! Superglass. I've had this since it released and I've used it frequently as you can see by the air bubble there lol. I LOVE the shimmery mess it leaves behind! It is a bit "rough" when you rub your lips together but it's not super noticeable. The shape of the tube is a hexagon too so it won't slide all over your table!

LORAC Luminizing Face Powder in Spotlight. It's a highlighter although it looks like a face powder. I think some people get this confused with that and say they don't like it but you're suppose to put it in parts of your face you want to highlight. It's gorgeous and it was only $9!

Dior Lash Extase Set. Comes with a full size extase and two sample sizes of iconic and blackout. I love dior mascaras so I had to buy this for later use! ^_^ It was about... $28 I think but I know for sure it wasn't over $30.

And here's a free sephora VIB gift with any purchase while supplies lasted! Great deal to be able to try out a lot of their products. :) If only the laura mercier TM was my shade.. *sigh* but the stardust shadow is a great size and I'm glad for that! ^_^

Well, this is the end of my haul of things I've purchase since the last one.. I know that there's some items I forgot but I really don't know what's missing so oh well! I hope I didn't make your wallets feel like they're burning haha because I know when I see massive haul posts it makes me feel broke too!

Hopefully I'll think of something for my next post. I've been hauling cheap clothes lately.. lol. I'm in love with LACE! everything looks so pretty with lace over it xD

I've recently been using the Cellnique Advanced Bio Renewal mask lately and I'll have to say I've been loving it a lot more than when I initially reviewed it ^_^ I guess the trick is to put it on before you're about to shower and then the rinsing part of it is a lot easier than trying to reach over the sink and get it off. Oh, mind you, I got it a little too high on my delicate eye area but I was like screw it it's already on there.. might as well make it even!

It's still half-way full so I'm trying to use it before it's expiration date! I will definitely repurchase this sometime.... in the end of winter/beginning of spring LOL.. I really have no money to blow on good skincare right now so I'm going to have to save up for it!

Howdyy!! *waves* I made a video today! I couldn't go back to sleep after my 80'clock class because I had to go to the dentist today to get my stitches out because I would not be able to get my ass back up :P

I've been playing with makeup... I came up with this look last saturday night and I wore it out and I really liked it so I decided to share it with you gals :)

This look was done using the Kat Von D - Memento Mori Palette! It can be purchased online at sephora.com or inside of sephora stores for $34. I'd say it's a pretty good deal since you get 8 eyeshadows!

I titled this look "Starry Night" because the colors remind me of the night sky... er, at least the setting sky? lol

I reallyyyyyy like the color teal! LOL.. I actually bought the "BLUE MY MIND" mineralized eyeshadow trio from in the groove because it was tealll... omg so pretty! ^_^

Sorry, it turned out a bit blurry for the opened eye shot :( I've also learned to tone down the eyeliner finally! ^_^

HAUL + REVIEW: MUFE #92

Hello my lovelies!

I've been away from the blogging scene for a little while and I actually thought about leaving! *GASPS* I know, but I can't really keep away lol. I've been swamped with schoolwork (macro&microeconomics stuff) and I'm planning my sister's baby shower which is the end of july. I have been super busy this summer and I've actually been going out and enjoying myself which is why I have had no time for blogging :( I mean, it's not like I don't have things to blog about, I just don't have enough motivation.

Anywho.. here's my face if you forgot what I look like lol. I took this picture after I took my micro test yesterday and we had to make a run for it in the rain.. Hair is all wet, GRR! And my clothes were uncomfortable because they were really wet too :(

Seeeee.. face is all wet! Foundation held up pretty well, the mascara not to much! BUT it's okay, it's not waterproof lol ^_^ Wanted to show you gals this too, my lashes! I'm wearing the new Maybelline the FALSiES volum' express mascara :) I say it's okay with one coat, not amazing but I do like it enough to not throw it in the trash :D I probably have one 2-3 coats in the photo below and I didn't curl my lashes.

Alright, onto what this is suppose to be about. As you can tell from the title of the post, I finally hauled myself the MUFE #92 eyeshadow!! WHOOO, I was super excited! Like finally right? LOL, you would think I had this already!

The color is gorgeous, the best purple ever! Its downfall? THE PRICE (though you get a lot for your money) and also the present it leaves behind on your eyes. After I remove my makeup, I get a pink stained eye because of it's pigmentation! Frustrating? Yes. But I just have to remember to take my makeup off when I wear this because usually by morning time it's mostly gone.

It's a matte shade which can be tricky if you don't blend it out well. Most of MUFE's shades are matte and this one is actually a "powder blush". I want to do a creative look soon and try this out as a blush LOL..

Swatch on my hand. Looks pretty boring, but it just makes my eyes pop whenever I wear it!

Here's a look I've done with it! Yeah, it's pretty boring but I didn't want to go overboard with such a dark color :) I LOVE wearing this eyeshadow! I'm gonna go back and buy some more of their shadows. Probably wait until they have that free palette deal and just fill up a palette of MUFE shadows and that'll probably be good enough for me ^_^ I'm still trying to fill up a MAC palette haha!

Ohh, and here's doggy :) He's shy but that brown fur is him LOL.. *anti-social dog*

FOTD + SNEAK PEAK: ONE STEP AT A TIME PHOTO HEAVY

*waves* HELLO! :) I'm getting back into the groove of wearing makeup... well kinda!? LOL, I felt so awkward wearing colors out the other night! AND stay tuned for a sneak peak of some of the new MAC Dazzle lippies! OMG.. they are either LOVE it or HATE it lol. I however am still undecided xD

This is the look I wore to dim sum on Thursday afternoon. I wore Maybelline's new quad thingies in "taupe temptress" and I think I overblended or did something wrong because when you see the eyeshadow it looks like shit! LOL.. yeah, no photo looking down because it looks terrible :X

Yup very simple! But then again it was super hot anyway so I didn't wanna wear superrr heavy makeup. I'm loving the feelin` dreamy lipglass this weekend ^_^

I originally went to go eat sushi first when the sun was still high that's why I said I felt so weird walking out of the house with all that eyeshadow on! Everyone kept complementing on it though so I GUESS it was okay lol xD

REVIEW: LOREAL VOLUMINOUS MASCARA

Hello everyone & hello to my new followers :)

I'm avoiding homework right now so I'm making a quick little review of this popular item I've seen everyone using since my freshman year of high school. I'm really tired of my summer classes already! :( *sigh* economics.... I guess I really can't avoid it since I'm a business major LOL.. It'd also help if I stayed home and read the chapters instead of going out and spending money! haha, I'm terrible :)

I picked it up at Ulta a while back and started using it early this month. Much to my surprise, I actually liked it but I don't think it's amazing for my lashes.

Simple black packaging with a gold cap and lettering.

The most traditional wand I've used in a long time but at first I was kind've nervous that it would suck lol. It's very soft but the wand feels very sturdy. It does get a tiny bit of mascara build-up on the tip of the wand but that's easily wiped away.

The formula to this mascara is not too wet, but not too dry. It strikes a really good balance. The formula also transfers well onto the lashes. I got the shade carbon black so it's a true black color when applied to my lashes. I do notice a little flaking by the end of the day and some minor smudging if it's really hot outside. It's not going to give me dramatic volume because of the way my lashes are naturally, but it gives me natural looking volume. I would imagine that if you had long, full lashes already this would be good for that dramatic volume. Also, there's no need for makeup remover since it washes off easily with water and some mild soap!

Here's my nekkid lashes! Today they aren't acting up super bad :) And today I found out that the top outer corner lashes are shorter and curled so it's a toughie to apply mascara there. I always assumed my outer lashes were longer than the inner ones but now I know the truth lol

Just curled them up with my shu uemura lash curler.. which almost broke the other day since it was getting tossed in my purse! o_O I think that the head of it is too curved for my eyes/face shape since I got a little dent in my skin :( I'm looking forward to trying out the shiseido one soon!

Here's one coat of the voluminous. Sorry the picture is a little bit blurry since the camera didn't focus right. It gives nice natural volume to the lashes.

This is with a second coat of the mascara and because my fan was on blowing towards my face, it was drying a little quick for me to work with so my apologies if it looks flaky lol

Verdict? I can see why I've seen this in girls makeup bags since high school because it's a pretty good product! It'll work best for people who don't have sparse, stubby lashes because I can see it going all sorts of wrong. If you have nice long lashes and want a little volume you'll love this mascara since it'll give you a nice, natural, feathery lashes :)

Well.. as you can tell by the title, not very much makeup! haha :) ohhh, and my lips are just carmex too! Texas has been unforgivably HOT the past two weeks or so and I am just not into wearing makeup right now. The foundation just feels like it's going to melt off my face especially whenever I layer it over sunscreen @_@!!! AND I am in serious need of a haircut as you can tell from the photo below my bangs are getting super long. Yes, so really I feel bad for not updating but I'm sure everyone understands lol :P

I'm wearing some winged liner with some neutral shadows paired with my new hipness blush! ^_^

Okay that's pretty much the look I've been sporting! Switching up the blushes you know, but I think I'm finding love for my refined golden bronzer :) I might even want the cream bronzers mac came out with... EEEK! lol, it looked really nice on my hand but IDK on my face though :P

hahaha! This is a terrible picture but I just wanted to share with you all. I was like CHERRY red from bowling (well drinking while bowling). It looked like I had pink blush all over my face and on my chest and arms!

HAHA! I just thought it looked hilarious because I looked at myself in the restroom and was like o_O... what is wrong with my face! Oh, plus I won a game of bowling :) It was the warmup game but whatever, I still won! LOL.. then my arm was sore for like a week -_-" YES OUT OF SHAPE! Someone needs to go on a workout plan with me :P

I'm cleaning out my makeup stash soon. I have dozens of lipglosses I haven't even opened! GAH, what a hoarder. I might just give some away to certain bloggers or I might do a blogsale. Well I've already given away makeup to some people.... diane, steph, linda! haha.. Still have a sackful of things I haven't used and will give away to more lovely bloggers :D No giveaway, sorry!

HAUL + VIDEO: MAC TO THE BEACH

HELLO & hi to my new followers :)

I've been very busy! Well, mostly today, but I slept in yesterday so that took up most of my day. Skip the big paragraphs if you don't wanna read and just get onto the haul LOL :)

I slept in for a LONGGG time yesterday! When we finally got done and ready my mother was already home so that brings it to around 3:30pm. Then I took her to get her glasses and what not but didn't turn out so good so we're going to try somewhere else in a few days or something. THEN we went to go eat sushi! I was going to take pictures, really! I took pictures of our drink, which was ordinary but the colors were fun, but then I was SOOO HUNGRY that I just dug into the appetizers and by the time I remembered to take photos.... I was like oh shit I already ate half the food lol. I got 3 sushi rolls, 2 appetizers, 1 soup, and 3 drinks all for me and JON. Yeah, we were in over our heads haha!

Then he went to watch his store with his daddy and I went home. His niece's birthday is today *HAPPY BIRTHDAY IDALYIS!* and she is now 7! So we went and bought some clothes for her to ship out to where she lives. Yeah, kinda late but hey at least we got her something :D... then we planned on watching Nightmare on Elm Street after. Mall closes at 9:00pm. Movie starts at 10:10pm. What the heck are we gonna do for an hour?!?! Well first we were thinking of going to visit my sister down the street. NOPE! She's out and the dog is too complicated for us to leave through the front door without anyone holding him. So we sat at Starbucks for 40 minutes drinking SOY Strawberries & Creme Frapp and a EXTRA COFFEE Caramel Frapp. Both were pretty good, but the people were fuckin` grumpy as shit!! I thought they're suppose to be perky all day?!?! lol, that's how it usually is everytime I go :P

We finally headed towards the movie and we were still early so we played Time Crisis. (that's what it's called right?) JON sucks! He kept losing first so that means I am better ^_^ Game was pretty fun, I want to play again!! My stupid foot pedal thing was being gay and retarded and I had to slam my foot on it everytime so I was getting tired haha. When we went into the theater, there was only 3 other people... DUN DUN DUN!!! Scary ehh? Well the screen started rolling down so I was like O_O!!! WTFFF because it was squeaking and scared me. haha, what a wimp right?! Good thing more people showed up and kinda filled up the room so it wasn't too freaky. Movie was VERY suspenseful but not really scary.

TODAY was a very good day and I got tons of errands done! Woke up early to go check out the collection and I got THE LAST marine life's!!!! haha, I seriously called everywhere to find this stupid powder -_____-" .... Got everything and then I went to order my mom her birthday cake for tomorrow. Super hungry so me and the doctor went to waffle house and ate our butts off. Afterwards went to sell back my school books and get my current books which took like an hour since we had to go from there to here and back over that way o_O! Super HOT today too. About 101 degrees FAHRENHEIT! Oh lordy, I was so happy to get back home and into the a/c and STAY here lol. That pretty much concludes my day as of now.... Thrills lipstick, a rose color with golden shimmers so it makes it a little bronzey. I tried it on and I actually like it on me :)

And I cannot see why people hate mac nail polishes! I really like them :)

It's a pea/poop/gren color. I can see some people hating it but I'm lovinggg it because it's creamy and pastel-ish! ^_^

This is from MAC's pret-a-papier collection but it sold out super fast at the counter and I didn't have enough money for it the first trip. Then the second trip it was gone -_-" Luckily this counter had it so I feel like they're not as popular or something. THEN the lady clarified that they get over-amount they need of the stuff so pretty much if they don't have it, you won't find it lol. I still prefer nordies since they all know me there haha!

Tried it on my waterline. Makes me look more awake! BUT I should try with dark eyeshadows because the combo I did today makes me look awake already :P I wanted to wait to go to the MAC PRO and get the regular black packaging instead of the wood work but I was too anxious ^_^

OVERALL, this is a nice collection. If I was like NC30/NC35 I would totally have been drooling over the bronzers but since I'm already satisfied with my tan I had to skip. I can see lots of pale girls wanting a tan loving this collection! Everything about this release just screams SUMMER so I'm sure it really as big as it seems.

REVIEW: RIMMEL GLAM'EYES MASCARA

*waves hand* Why hello there! I know I said I'd be posting more, but I just honestly haven't been in the mood! I haven't really bought makeup like I usually do, but I still have been purchasing some things! I unintentionally ended up saving more money than I had planned so that tells you something! lol :) Plus things I have wanted to put up for review aren't available anymore because you girls know that I LOVE my limited edition things lol, I might still review the individual items because those are available still.

The blogging scene is not what it used to be when I first got hooked on blogging. All these companies trying to get their name out there is pretty much what happened to the blogging scene! I know I've been there too, but the things I accepted to review is kinda something I was already interested in and was in need of. (ex. new skincare, new moisturizer) And I've seen quite a few blogs that are just interested in getting a bunch of followers and stuff and I don't know, it just turns me off from reading them. I know some of you girls know what I am talking about though! (especially Arezu)

Okay but onto the review! I bought this mascara a while back and just got to using it. I'm not gonna lie, I bought this because of someone's review on a blog and her lashes looked AMAZING. And then in a lot of her posts she always raved about this mascara so I caved in and bought it because it was buy one get one free :P

Rimmel Glam'eyes Mascara in Black.

Cute simple little packaging. Black tube with some metallic pink accents and a fishnet textured top. This baby retails from around $6.50-$9.00 from stores I've seen in the States but if you're lucky you can most likely find it on sale at CVS, Walgreens, or use the $3.50 off coupon at Ulta with their deals which makes the total even sweeter. The formula is a bit dry even when you first open it so I can see this guy drying out quickly, maybe about a month of daily use. I can also confirm it'll start flaking on you if you're trying to pull a 12-hour day. But on the other hand, it delivers great length and good volume while still providing separation. Washes off easily with soap and water, or should I say face wash and water. It'll definitely come off easily with makeup remover.

I really like the cute little crown on the bottle :) I think it adds a cute touch, but I know some might think it's tacky.

Here's one side of the brush. The bristles are long and far apart. I think this makes my lashes clump and stick together, but then this can also comb them back out so it's a love-hate thing.

Then you rotate the brush 90-degrees and you get this side of the brush. I like this side better because they're close together and short so it can lift my lashes up while distributing an even amount of product.

Okay so enough gibberish about the packaging and wand. How does it perform?

These are my nekkid lashes, freshly curled. The outer corner of my lashes are being really retarded and they're going in all sorts of direction.

This is one coat of mascara. Doesn't give too much volume but on the other hand it gives me some pretty good lengthening. Plus, the short side of the brush makes it easy to apply some mascara to my bottom lashes without getting it everywhere.

This is how it looks with two coats. It's starting to get borderline clumpy as you can see in the middle of the lashes and it's already looking like it's about to flake from the tips of the lashes. The formula is way too dry for me with the amount of coats I like to put on my lashes. (I usually do 2-3 coats) This was a good day of the Rimmel Glam'eyes application too. Usually it doesn't look this good on my lashes! lol, but I guess it sucked it up for this review.

Overall, I will throw this tube of mascara out because it never looks like my eye up there. NEVER! Bottom line is that the formula is too dry for me to layer on the coats the way I would like to. If this mascara had the wet formulation like Rimmel's Sexy Curves but with this brush then I think I would definitely like it much better.

No promises, but I feel like blogging is a way to take some stress off. LATELY though, there has been no stress so no need for me to blog lol. Plus like I've mentioned before, it feels like a commercial. Like oh geez, not trying to offend anyone but the guru makeupbyrenren. Has anyone seen her videos since she came back from the Philippines?! That's when I think they started anyway, but they're all reviews about companies. I mean yes, that's a nice product and all but it just keeps going on about different companies and seriously I try to use my products until they're almost used up because usually things do work good at first but then sometimes it goes south. I think it's great that you're introducing new companies and doing tutorials with them but man I know I'm not alone when I say I liked the old stuff better.

I'm not trying to criticize, but I'm just trying to point things out. I know blogs are things that are your own opinion and of course you're not forced to read anything but ehh.. it's just not the same as it was maybe..... say 2 years ago? Oh well, see you later!

I LOVE this dog! haha, I went over to my sister's house on Tuesday morning to join her when she went to the baby doctor place. Unfortunately I didn't get to figure out the sex of the baby -____-" SO I GUESS I won't be able to plan the COLORS of the baby shower!

But anywho, my sister and brother in law never really just baby the dog so usually when I come over I baby him like crazy :) This day was just funny because he was so comfortable just laying on my chest haha! I don't know, I just thought this picture was super cute.

Just a quick update today! I will probably make another post later on today but for now I should go shower and what not. I've also got assloads of laundry to fold from yesterday :X YES I AM LAZY! haha

HELLO SUMMER! (FOR 2 WEEKS)

Hello beautifuls! :) It's been a long time since a real update hasn't it? Well I have until June 1st to give you girls[guys] real updates ^_^ I plan on making basic videos (maybe) but I'm not going to promise anything!

Here's what I HAVE BEEN doing the past 2 weeks :D

Below here is when I went to the dentist to get my lower left wisdom tooth removed.

I was trying to frown, but this is when I was waiting for the anesthesia to kick in ^_^ As you can tell, it's already kicked in full blast when I finally got a non-blurry picture lol. I got my towel under in case I drool (which I did) and then I had the spit sucker thing in my other hand.

I totally went in all calm and was like I'm ready! I never realized how much of a big deal people make it. They kept asking if I was nervous (since I went solo). I was like o_O! What are you talking about? I'm just getting a tooth extracted, why would I be nervous? I guess I was just like whatever so nothing dawned on me. THEN when he injected the anesthesia thats when I got a little nervous! That was why it was so HARD to take the stupid picture up there because I was trembling. Within 10 minutes I was calm again though lol and it only took 30 minutes for the tooth to come out :) Yeahhh, I guess it was pretty painless and hopefully when I go get my next one removed it'll be just as painless.

On the other hand, I'm going in for a root canal in a week or two :( I'm really scaredddd.. omg! I guess I'm more scared that my other tooth MIGHT need one too lol and the thought of the expenses makes me wanna pee my pants! LOL...

Moving on..

This is when I went to go do a photoshoot at drjon's house. It was for an art project ^_^

I figured jon wanted to get in the shot.. btw, we're inside of my infiniti g35 :) this baby eats gas like no other *sigh*

How much is gas per the gallon where you live?Just curious.

So since Jon wanted in on the picture, I put him in! He's bald still from his grandmother's funeral :) hehe, he looks so funny! I like to sleep with my face in the back of his head to bother him since he's always putting his face into my back when he sleeps -_____-"

This was on the way back from the photoshoot... It was a success! I got a 100 :) BUT, since it was a day late, I got a 90 :( BUT I guess it's still an A right? lol

The ball in my hand is a big wad of plastic wrap (saran wrap, however you call it). I wrapped up his little sister with this and didn't wanna throw it away at their house so I wouldn't get caught wasting plastic wrap LOL :X I think that was one of the favorite pictures I took since of the coloring and the lighting!

THIS WAS FROM LAST WEEK!

Good lord, I spent a total of at least 16 hours in the science learning center getting my chemistry homework done in the 2 days. Then I spent some more time in there getting my review done.. Geez, I'm so sick of that place! BUT I have to admit, it's a really good learning environment and the people that work there are really helpful :) If you can't tell in the picture, this is the second day I was there and I was starting to go delirious! LOL, I seriously couldn't stop laughing because I was so tired...

OKAY! So I'm thinking about making a video right now.. :) I'm thinking contouring since I've been into that lately ^_^! Although my face is super chiseled from studying for the past 2-3 weeks because I have not been eating right. Also going to pick up some protein bars as a snack kinda thing since I feel like I've developed somewhat "anorexic" type of eating habbit lol. Stupid studying!

I'll be back with another post tomorrow. FINALLY GET THESE REVIEWS IN! :D

BTW, I did terrible this semester! I am just super happy ONLY BECAUSE I managed to get a B in chemistry 2! :) hahaha, I guess because everyone bombed the finals (including me) but I managed to get a 72 on it so I'm satisfied with that lol.

OMG! Hello new followers & the people that still lurk onto here lol. I can't believe April is finished! I have finals coming up and I am sure as hell not ready for them! Let alone taking summer classes -___-'...

Here's the last face of the day for April ^_^ It was from..... sometime this week?? o_O who knows... Or it could be from last Thursday?? I sure know it wasn't from last Saturday or Sunday and I haven't worn makeup this entire week until today.. Whateverrrs! I just wanna post it up because I haven't been posting much this month :)

The smokiness is very subtle because I didn't bring the color up super high! My skin is looking super dull lately and I am in need of a mustache wax! LOL... So the peachiness in the lipstick brings out the dullness & mustache :P

I did this look when I was trying to clean out my makeup and decide what I wanna keep and use and what I need to throw away or GIVE away... as some of you bloggers already know since I contacted people to give things to LOL.. Like you girls don't have enough makeup of your own, but who can say no to free things? :)

FOTD: PINK LIPS

Hello everyone!

Another quick fotd, I did this before work again on Friday lol. I used the same basic eyeshadows (HEY, PREPPED FOR GLAMOR, GLAMOR CHECK! instead of SORCERY) but instead of red lips I used NYX's Pinky Lipliner and applied the DO IT UP dazzleglass creme on top of it :)

The eyeshadows are very great for everyday and are super easy to apply! This look only took like 10-minutes tops to do the entire face ^_^

Me, on the other hand, I NEED A HAIRCUT!!! The bangs are getting super long. I can't for the life of me remember what foundation I am wearing because it looks really good in the photos! :( Oh well, I guess I should try to "write" down what foundie I wear because I've been alternating a lot to finish up my foundations! GRR..

Oh well, good night girls!

Sorry for the lack of updates! It was New Year's this weekend and getting my wisdom tooth pulled hasn't really helped! I've been sleeping, A LOT! haha, I blame the pain killers but it might be because I wanna sleep too ^_^

I was cleaning out my receipt box last week and omg, look at how many Nordstrom receipts I have! BTW, I go to Nordies to get my MAC makeup because they are more friendlier there :) There are more receipts underneath but I didn't wanna lay out every receipt I had! haha, oh well, enjoy the peek :P

YUP! Exactly like it sounds :)

I went to my sister's house tonight to get my FAFSA (financial aid) done and finish looking up what classes I was going to take this summer.. I am officially going to be taking MACROECONOMICS in the classroom and I'm going to try out MICROECONOMICS online and see how online classes work :D Then for my second summer semester I'm taking ACCOUNTING in the class and that's about it this summer.. Just tryna take it easy :D If all goes well then I plan on finishing maybe... 2012? If the world doesn't end first ya know... :X

Okay, so I used to go over everyday after class and feed him, walk him, hang out with him... but since my accident I can't go over because 1) I cannot afford the gas and 2) I have been busy lol. So I was super happy that I got to hang out with the puppy today ^_^ His name is JACK btw.

Look at him! He needs a haircut :) I'm gonna take him for one early June.. $40 for everything so not too bad of a deal. I was busy laughing that's why my mouth is open lol

hehe, keep watching him... he's falling asleep! xD

aww..... he's so cute! His eyes were still open but the hair is blocking the way lol xD His head was partially on the pillow too ^_^

Jack is pretty much sleeping now... haha! :) He's sooo adorable, I kept messing with him and he knows he liked it :P

How did I choose a winner?
First I had to go to my comments section and make a chart! I put a column of "username, follower?, repost?" and then I went and wrote down everyone's names. I clicked on their link and usually it goes to your profile and sometimes if you have the option on you'll see everyone they're following. The hard way is to dig through your followers and I did that with my "find" function on my browser lol. Still relatively easy, but does take a long time whenever there's a lot of people! Yeah so there's my devotion LOL! ^_^ Ohhh, and then I went to an excel spreadsheet and typed up all the entries (+ extra entries) and after I finished with that I went to www.random.org and put it "1 - 167" and choose the first place winner. (Her number was #2) And then after I did that I took out that entry and did "4-167" since she had 3 total entries I eliminated her from being able to be counted again so that there's more of a chance of winning for others. The second winner was chosen after that. (Her number was #154)

FOTD: TWO BEFORE WORK

HELLO! Yes two fotd's before work :) Not from the same day though haha! One is from last week and one is from today ^_^

Also before I get into this post... I've gone through every entry and wrote everyone down already and there's a few people that I'm not for sure if they're actual followers so I'm going to check up on that tonight! Maybe about 5 out of 100 I'm not sure about but mostly everyone followed the rules! Some didn't say "I want free stuff" but left their email address so I'm assuming you want to enter :P I started going through the entries from when I posted that last post and I went to sleep maybe around 3:00-3:30... yeah! IT TOOK A LONGGGGGGG TIME... lol but I wanted to check if everyone followed the rules because you can't freeload off of me xP

Okay, onto my looks! ^_^ First is the one from last week. I was testing out the new products from MAC I recently got.

The next one is what I'm currently wearing right this moment! I saw a video that hollyannaeree (however you spell her name because I don't feel like going to youtube and looking right now since i always misspell it lol) did on youtube and I really liked the color combos so I wanted to try out something similar :P I wanted to do deeper, but I didn't feel like rummaging through my makeup to find a deeper blue so I settled with this ^_^

I didn't use anything new for this, but I'll list it anyway :P. Everything is MAC btw.

Here's the look after drinking my strawberry banana icestorm :P haha, no more lipstick. I'm scared to reapply because it might break on me :( if you own cutester, you should know what I mean.. lol

UPDATE + RIP!

Hello! I'm so sorry I've been MIA this week.. which isn't like me o_O! Something super serious happened this weekend! My boyfriend's grandmother started to have heart problems and breathing problems on Saturday night. She was finally brought back to the house on Monday around 7:30pm and we all knew she was going to go soon and we all wanted to say our goodbyes. I got to say my goodbye when I left on Monday night.

By Tuesday when I came back to see her she was gone. I was less than an hour too late! Frustrating yes because I was cleaning up my ramen noodle mess I made since the soup spilled everywhere when I was almost done eating! Gosh, and let me tell you.. traffic! It's already like a 20 minute drive to get there so yeahhh.. I got there and we immediately started to plan the mourning ceremonies. Funeral is going to be next Saturday.. It's okay, I'm happy she's in a better place now and not feeling all this pain!

Brush is very unique, takes some getting used to! I kept poking out my eyes forreals :/ ...but the brush doesn't work well with my right eye for some reason o_O!

Non-primer:

The photos above are the results without using primer on my lashes. It looks okay, nothing special whenever I apply my eyeliner and eyeshadow since the inner half just kinda gets lost. The curl factor doesn't last all day for me though, they just end up kinda... mehhh! But it's not shitty though.

Primered-up:

When I do wear primer though, the results are even worse! It actually doesn't curve at all but it does give it more definition... which then lacks on the volume -_- Also the mascara with primer weighs down my lashes so they look a little limp :(

For me, this was a miss! I think more of the fact that when it would kinda poke me in the eye, it would hurt like hell! That was my deal breaker. It's a good everyday mascara, but my makeup style is that I like to wear things dramatic. Lashes always needs to be noticeable! This is a good natural mascara but I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who's in a rush when they do makeup or else maybe you'll end up with an eye infection haha!

But on the other hand, the regular version I have washes off really easily with face wash and water. Also, when it dries it's not too crunchy and it's not wet either. I can still feel my eyelashes flex and move around. It's also good that you can achieve good results without using a primer :)

MY SEPHORA EXPERIENCE

Lots of talking/reading today, beauty related though, but if you're not into that kinda stuff then you might want to skip this post.

I swung by Sephora today to go exchange the Urban Decay Stardust Eyeshadow in Diamond Dog for something else. I really liked the shadow, but the color was a bit dirty for me although it looked great swatched! I'll go back and get Atmosphere later since it seems to be the most pigmented but at the moment I am not really feeling the loud bright colors. Most likely when May hits or something though ^_^

Today's post is more of a story rather than anything, but I know when I first got into makeup I was very intimidated to go into makeup boutiques, counters, and even Ulta! LOL xD Sad yes, but if I felt this way I'm sure some of you have right?!?! :S I know on blogtv we'll talk about what happened when we went to sephora or something so just want to share what happens when I go to Sephora!

I usually swing by there at least ONCE every two weeks. Sometimes once a week if I have money lol :) I was always under the interpretation that the people that work there are stuck up bitches that think they're hot (ahem, Victoria's secret workers at my location). BUT if you go in with that attitude of course you're gonna be like.. ohh no thanks I don't need your help. Usually when I go in they always greet me and of course being friendly I'll greet them back especially when I greet people at my job and they don't answer me I'll feel like an idiot :X.. Just go in with a good attitude and you'll usually receive the same! Now I can't speak for all the sales people because you might just end up with the bitchy one but most of the ones I've encountered are super friendly and helpful!

Sometimes I know what I want and go and just scoop it up real quick but sometimes I just want to look around. I'm sure by now they remember my face so they usually know the story lol. I went to exchange my eyeshadow today because like I said, it was too dirty looking on my lids. I brought it over there and seriously, no questions asked! lol :) I'm not gonna really return things but this thing I really felt like I wouldn't be able to make it work.

Since I was there I thought I'd ask someone to color match me and ...the girl with the bangin lashes... helped me! I wanted to really give the MUFE HD Foundation another try and was ready to find something that's my color. Unfortunately in the end we didn't find a definite match but the closest I got was 153 but it'll probably suit a little better in the summer so that's what I'm gonna go back for later on around May or something. I also wanted to try the MUFE Mat Velvet + but we didn't get to color match on that because we spent like 30 minutes on the HD foundie haha!

After the first 2 she tried, she just couldn't find a good enough match so ...the guy with the pretty lashes... came over and tried to help. Then Coleen... yes the only person's name I remembered because I see her all the time lol... came over with a clean brush and they were pretty much just hanging out and watching after that. We put on #153 and they all gave their opinions but I walked around the store to look at it and that's when we officially said it's a little too dark. So then the guy recommended I use the NARS Sheer glow foundation.

NARS Sheer Glow = Make Up For Ever HD Foundation. Both have the same finish, which is a little dewy and about the same coverage. Good alternative if you can't find the right undertone in the MUFE HD line since most of it is pink/beige.
NARS Sheer Matte = Make Up For Ever Mat Velvet + Foundation. Both turns into a matte finish except I think that the MUFE one is just straight up full coverage if you're looking for that. Plus it's about $10 cheaper.

Okay so after we figured out that the 153 was too dark, all three of them came up to my face; the guy on the left side, girl on the right side, and Coleen was picking up bottles. They all tried to match it up and the best match would have to be the one I was wearing. I was just like WOW! I have like 3 sales people helping out at once xD Some people can barely even get one hahaha!

They really did help because when I bought this foundation the first time, I didn't really get much help. And the way they talked about it with me today was so much more different than the other time. Plus, they even commented about my eye makeup and we ended up talking about the Barbie <3 Stila collection! haha, I guess it does help a little to know some kind of make up background but from reading blogs, I'm sure you will too!

I told them I like to alternate between my foundations because if I use the same one everyday I get different results everyday since my skin changes so much! Overall, this was probably like the most customer service I got and the fact that it was for like 30 minutes really means they took time out of what they're doing to help me! ^_^

So the next time you go into Sephora needing help, don't forget to ask! And please, don't be rude either. If they do say something that seems rude, they're just trying to tell you the truth like if something doesn't suit your skintone. It really does help if you go in with a good attitude because no one likes someone that seems like they're gonna be an asshole. I mean put yourself in their perspective. They work there and of course there's gonna be typical people that go in there that gives them shit! I would hate it too LOL.. and I do actually but I just try not to be rude until they really piss me off xD

I ended up exchanging the eyeshadow for the new MUFE Microfinish Blush! I got #6 Quickie since that seems to be the most popular shade going around. If I really like it, I'll end up getting some more shades :) I'll put a review up in a week or two to give you my two cents about it! I've got a few coming up for recent purchases.

NAILS: MAC & ESSIE

Hii! :) Here's my post for today, just a quickie! I never got around to posting this up but here it is ^_^

Well, the one I never got to was a swatch of Essie - Mink Muffs. It was THE LAST one at Ulta and it was hidden somewhere so I seriously DIGGED and finally found it! haha ^_^ Sucks for whoever was trying to hide it though.. they should've done a better job lol.

It's a pretty muted color since before this I have been sporting some crazy colors! You probably can't get this anymore but if you do I highly recommend it! It's not like an ugly brown when you wear it because it's not too dark.. But the only thing that sucks about this nail color is when it starts to chip because it's super noticeable!

The next one is MAC - Studded. It's actually a matte color but the way I applied it didn't look too good since it dried too fast for me so I applied a top coat. I actually prefer the top coat! :D

(it's about 1.5-2 coats. I say 1.5 because it applied really shitty since it's a matte)

I'm actually wearing this polish as I'm typing this, I'll probably take it off in a few days because it looks so aluminum foil-esque for me. But we'll see how lazy I get because then it'll probably end up being on Monday night lol :) This is actually the only thing I bought from MAC's Riveting collection!

Okay! I actually gotta take real pictures tonight so I can post some things I've been wanting too.. laziness has gotten the best of me!

One more thing, I got an 84 on my Chemistry test today :( I'm really sad... because that's AFTER my extra points added on! I was pretty sure I only missed likeee.... 3-4 questions out of 20 but I guess I missed more? :/ oh well, I guess it's at least it's passing. (Passing in Chemistry is a 65)

HAUL: INFINITI G35

Hello beautifulllllls!

First of all, THANKS SO MUCH FOR EVERYONE ENTERING MY GIVEAWAY! I might add in another small prize depending how many people I result in... I actually do got a few more things that are unopen that I've hauled... I don't even know when? o_O

Okay, so I got this on the 25th of March actually but I didn't get to post it up yet! :) Not the typical haul I usually post up, but it will do ^_^ I'm gonna try to post every weekday... since I have a billion things to post! haha XD

Well, I give you a 180-degree view of the car... I mean cars are symmetrical so you should know what it looks like on the other side haha!

The front -- it's fuckin huge. Well, compared to my other car haha. This one feels MUCH more heavier! Has some rock chips in the front, but versus the other one it's a hell of a lot less!

This one has both of the side markers! A lot of the ones I found online were missing either the right of the left and it would be a hassle to go get a new one and stick it on.. lol

You can kinda see me, I'm the pair of legs to the left of the door ^_^

The only thing I don't like so far is just that the headlights are red, and the car is red -___-" so it's really monochromatic in the daytime! xD

Trunk is huge from the body of it, but when you open that shit it's punyyy.. like I think there's less room than my Acura RSX and that was a hatchback! o_O oh, and the license plate it all crooked but I don't know why :(

Interior is black ^_^ You see my shifter?!?! I'm gonna end up polishing it with lotion LOL.. and the e-brake seriously needs to be all the way up or else this baby doesn't want to stay parked sometimes!

And my car comes with the brembo brake package! This shit is ELITE, but because of that it's gonna cost an arm, a leg, and half of my makeup collection to pay for a maintenance!

ROUND UP: MARCH 2010

I'm jumping on the bandwagon. haha! :) I wanted to a while ago, but I would always forget so I'll start this month! ^_^

I watch hollyannaeree on youtube and she does "hits and misses" and that's where she shows you everything she bought that month and tells you if she likes them or not! Well, I love the concept and I know sometimes I can't get my reviews up so if I do them here it can be a SHORT review :D

I'm also going to add my favorites for the month so that's why I am going to call this a round up.. like a monthly round up! It can also help me keep track of when I buy my makeup and stuff so that's another perk of this :P

To kick start this post I'm gonna begin with my favorites of the month! ^_^

If you've followed me for a really long time and kept up with my posts, I was so anti-blush. Maybe because the way I was applying it didn't compliment my face shape? :/ ... but I gave blush another try and now I'm absolutely in love with it ^_^ Sorry I didn't number label the products but these products are so recent I'm sure you'll recognize them haha!

1.MAC Baby Sparks Dazzleglass: I'm so close to finishing this tube.. remember what I said in my last post right? It's impossible to finish a lipgloss.. well something like that but this one is pretty much done for. I love this sticky shit! It lasts a longgg time for me and if I layer it over lipstick it helps my lipstick last long too :) Plus I love how it's so sparkly!

2. MAC Melt in Your Mouth Cremesheen Glass: This isn't from the new collection that released a few weeks ago, this is actually from the original launch! As you can tell, I loveee this lipgloss too! There's less product than baby sparks in there. I love to add it to a super nude lipstick so I don't look totally dead and it'll give me some color ^_^ But this one isn't sticky and doesn't last as long as the dazzleglass.

3. MAC Ripe Peach & Azalea Blossom Blush Ombre: I just love the shade of these blushes! And you can somewhat customize your own shade depending where you concentrate your blush. Another plus is that the pan is enormous so I don't think I'll ever run out of this! And the beautiful gradient is also a perk :)

4. MAC Prim & Proper Powder Blush: I've used this blush for two weeks straight now. I didn't realize how beautiful this shade would be on my face! It looked way too boring on the swatch for me so I'm so happy that I tried it on ^_^ It's great for everyday because it's so natural and brings life to your face. Plus it's a satin so it's super pigmented!

Okay, so here's the "hits and misses" section.. I think you can figure out how it works if you read lol. I'm gonna split it up into three little sections...

Drugstore:

1. Maybelline Eyestudio Shadow: This is pigmented and I have forgotten the name.. I think it might be lavender something? But IDK it's the purple one! The eyeshadow is very smooth and you get a lot for how much you pay but I don't think it's worth it. I haven't actually used it but when I swatch it, I know if I'll love it or hate it. The colors (solid lavender side and marbelized pinkish side) look almost the same when you swatch it so I don't think it's worth it. Maybe it'll be different with another shade but I won't be buying another one. Miss!

2. Rimmel Sexy Curves Mascara: Okay so I didn't technically buy this during this month but I used it during this month. It gives really good length (I used it in my "Liberty of London" FOTD) but I think it applies nicely but eventually my lashes aren't really curled anymore as the day goes on.. Miss!

MAC:

1. Shell Pearl Beauty Powder: it's super pigmented for a beauty powder and gives a great highlight to my cheekbones. Be careful though, if you apply too much it can be over kill on the shimmer! Hit!

2. Prim & Proper Powder Blush: okay, so I've already said enough from my favorite part of this post right? lol :) Hit!

3. Frankly Fresh, English Accents, Perennial High Style Lipglass: I love the colors of these lipglosses so much but I've only used one so far and it was only for one time.. like I didn't even touch it up through the day after it faded! If you used then often throughout the day, the colors are gorgeous but for me this is a miss. I'll still use them though since I've already scooped them up. Miss!

4. Blooming Lovely, Peachstock, Ever Hip Lipstick: these lipsticks are great :) Although they all come in different finishes I will categorize them together lol. The coral shade is really nice since it's buildable because I know sometimes coral doesn't look good on my skin. Blooming lovely is really purple-ish so it's not too practical for everyday but if you top it off with a pinkish or nudish lipgloss it'll tone it down. Overall I really like all the lipsticks! Hit!

Sephora: (all bought when I lost my car so I was really sad and just wanted some retail therapy.. lol, not a good idea! If you're sad just please stay home or to the icecream shop.. It's CHEAPER! xD)

1. LipFusion Lipgloss: I got this for $10 and I know it retails for like $30-somethingish?!?! My shade I got is BARE. It has that tingling sensation you get with lip plumpers but it doesn't bother me since I actually like that sensation :) The color is super natural too on the lips! Hit!

2. Buxom Lash Liner: I've already used a good little chunk during that week and a half I used it constantly everyday. I didn't see any lash growth but it might be because I didn't use it for a really long period of time. (I will start again soon so I can properly review it.) The liner doesn't last all day for me and it's super fluid. I find that it starts to transfer from the upper lashline to my bottom one during the day but I think that's because I have super oily skin and especially the weather changing like crazy made my skin even oilier! Another think I noticed is that it doesn't wash off as easily as my other pot liners I've tried. I probably won't repurchase this even if my lashes starts growing. Miss!

3. NARS Pencil Sharpener: I've been wanting this for a while now. Like all the NARS products it has that rubbery texture so shimmer will stick to it eventually. At first I couldn't get the removable cap off but now I can't really keep it stuck. It just comes off really easily when you pull it off now :( On the plus side it can fit 3 different size pencils and it only cost $6 which is cheap for a NARS product and compared to the other high end sharpeners. Oh, and it doesn't break my eyeliner pencil when I try to make it super pointy! Hit!

4. Benefit Legally Bronze: (upcoming post on this set..) The whole set is really a good deal! It was only $35 when one of the products is $28. I like all the products but it's not something you NEED to have. Bronzer(hoola) is great because it's matte and applies really smoothly and evenly! The golden highlighter pencil (gilded) is nice too but I find this shade is unnecessary for me because I don't like to wear bronzey shades because it makes me look tanned. The mascara is also unnecessary for me because it's BROWN and I don't really like the badgal brushes. I think I'll give it to someone since I haven't used it yet or use it for my brows. Don't be surprised if you get this in the mail LOL.. The high beam.. I love it! It's inconvenient for me too sometimes because I don't decide what I want to use as a highlighter until after I powder my face. With this product you gotta put it on before you apply powder products. The applicator is also.. weird? It's pretty much a nail polish bottle so yeahhh if you can imagine that. :) Although it's such a good deal.. I would say this isn't a practical product if I were buying it for myself. As a gift it'll be great. It just depends on your makeup style though but for me it's a... Miss!

Okay, so this turned out longer than I thought it would! :X I guess I bought a lot of stuff this month that I didn't realize. Usually the stuff I get when I'm sad or angry makes me feel like I didn't buy it ahah! :) Okay but seriously, I am going to cut down on the spending! PROJECT 5 PAN: EXPIRED

Hiiii! :D I have something interesting I'm trying to do! I'm trying to use up all my products in my drawer.. lol, well not all of it but the stuff that should be used up easily! ^_^

I'm going to post up "project 5 pan" and stuff, but I'm sure I would still buy things here and there but I have noticed I've cut down on buying makeup (versus January lol if you guys have seen the posts for that month :X). Plus I do have things to pay for now so I'm learning to be responsible! :D Hopefully, I will get through some real things... like for example hit pan on something or finish a lipstick or even better finish a lipgloss! You girls know finishing lipgloss is like impossible right?! haha!

Okay so onto the products! Volume 1 is going to be the expired edition.

1. Korres Evening Primrose Eye Cream, It expired at the beginning of this month. I didn't start using it until mid december and I've probably had it since summer. Being a natural product the life span on this doesn't last too long since it's free of the chemicals that's used to preserve it. It actually started to work really good withing the months I used it. (I was trying to finish my clinique all about eyes eye cream.) I saw my little lines start to disappear and it absorbed really nice. Reviews on sephora says that they give you way too much product so it expires before you use it all up.

2. Maybelline Lash Stiletto Mascara, I've reviewed this and I'm glad I'm done using it. It actually expired before the 3-months was suppose to be up because I can definitely tell from the smell of it and the fact that it's so dry. This is too average of a mascara for me to purchase another but I guess at least it's not shitty to be a waste of money.

3. tokidoki for Smashbox lipgloss in Dolcissima, this gloss is really old. Like I should throw it out soon old because it's sooo contaminated! LOL.. so yeah, now I'm throwing it out! This is before I discovered the hygienic way to use makeup.

4. Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat, I love this thing but sadly it has dried out. It's so goopy and thick that it doesn't apply evenly to my nails anymore as a top coat so I'm gonna have to just chunk this and buy another one. I know you can buy a thinner but I'd rather just go buy another bottle. It was almost done though, and the brush on it had trouble reaching the product anyway so I guess it's time to let it go lol.

5. Too Faced Shadow Insurance, this was the first thing I ever bought from Sephora with my own money! (My first thing ever was the Urban Decay Deluxe Eyeshadow Palette with the $50 giftcard my sister gave me :D) I used to use it everyday and then I couldn't find it so I started using UDPP, Smashbox primer, and paint pots but the I found it not too long ago hiding in my makeup bag! I was going to go use it again and the consistency isn't the same anymore and it smells really bad.. but I've had it since the end of 2008 so I guess it's served its purpose. It's more than halfway gone so I guess I'm pretty satisfied with the use I got out of it. What I do recommend is that don't buy so many primers to where you can't finish them all! LOL.. that's what happened to me xD

Okay, so I hoped you enjoyed this little project 5 pan thing. I have another one coming up in about a week or two. It might be the "USED UP" edition haha! I think I'm also going to do a monthly favorites kinda thing but differently because if you guys watch hollyannaeree on youtube then you know she does more of the hits/misses kinda thing so I might just do a ROUNDUP :) Look out for that tomorrow!

I'm doing a good job posting everyday, but man my email is getting clogged up! I'm sorry if I've missed your emails, I've got to sort through then tomorrow! FOTD: LIBERTY OF LONDON

Hello! This is a "face of the day" from the Friday that the Liberty of London collection was released! I just haven't had time to post it and I really do like the eyeshadow combo I did to work :) And don't forget to join my giveaway! Link is above this post in red ^_^

I had my makeup done at MAC the day it did release and she did a similar look to this.. but I didn't get a picture of that makeup :X I wanted to recreate it but with the colors more similar to the collection! I honestly didn't buy any of their eyeshadows but I think these shadows look really similar to the ones that came out ^_^

Ehh, my face looks whiter than my neck in this picture! WTF... I guess I didn't use the right portions on the Revlon PhotoReady :X Or it might be the SPF since I used a full coverage of this.

I did my brows too! It looks like I have a fake dimple on the side of my face lol.

It's getting harder to smile! I feel really awkward smiling when I'm trying to take a picture of my makeup... haha! And my right eyelid is really annoying me because of the uneven lid! GOSH, but oh well, you barely notice in real life right?

Okay and the last one in natural lighting! See, my foundation matches really well in natural lighting! ^_^ And I had that stupid pimple patch thing on my cheek. It got suuuuper dry and all that bullshit! It looked gross but I'm thankful it's gone now!

I think it's more to show that I actually use my makeup more than a buying ban. I've resisted buying anything new for a while!

WHY NC40s SHOULDN'T WEAR...

MAC FLESHPOT LIPSTICK!

Omg, it looks horrendous doesn't it!?!? I'm not even sure if a NC35 would be able to pull off this shade alone! lol :) I think the only use for it alone is for the pale gals that want a nude lip for a dramatic smoky look! ^_^ (not a good way to model the bang bang bi0tch earrings lol)

Okay so what am I going to do with this lipstick now that it looks awful on me? (I knew it would be too light when I bought it online, but I just had to prove myself okay!)

So here are my bare lips:

I don't have a very defined lipline and they aren't terribly pigmented.

The lipstick.. okay so when it's lighter than the birch veneer it has got to be terrible on me! lol

The lipstick on my hand with flash..

The lipstick on my hand without flash.. Gosh, you can seriously see my veins! xD

And here is a close up of the lipstick on my lips! Sorry the picture isn't as focused, I didn't realize it when I was taking the picture.

So I saw a post that Livia did last week and I decided to try it out on myself! ^_^ And it worked like a charm.. I took MAC On Display Lipglass to lighten the color of it whenever I apply it over the fleshpot lipstick.

A dark plummy-raspberry color. It's really gorgeous and leaves a wine color on your lips when worn alone :) Unfortunately it only suits the fall/winter seasons.

Here it is on my lips! ^_^ I really like how the picture captures the gold sparkles :D

So I apply FLESHPOT on my lips first and then I take the lipgloss and put some on my finger (don't wanna contaminate the applicator especially with pale nude lipstick) and spread it out evenly on my lips! And here is the result :D

A pretty pinky color! It's actually pretty wearable after I add the super dark vampy gloss.

And without flash it looks even better :D Please excuse my little mustache hairs, I need to touch up on that lol!!

But I totally love the result! I'm still undecided if I want to keep this lipstick or if it'll end up on my blogsale.. only time will tell! ^_^ Thought I would post something different and will benefit the tan girls like me that are too afraid to buy certain nude lipsticks.. this is what you can do if it doesn't work out for you :D

I'm totally on a roll this week with the posts! I've got tons more planned.. *sigh* I guess that means I have too much makeup products LOL...

HAUL: MAC LIBERTY OF LONDON

Well! Since you asked... I was just about to get to that today! I really thought the collection was very nice over all! ^_^ They had a lot of different product selection; eyeshadows, lipglasses, lipsticks, nail lacquers, beauty powers, blushes, makeup bags, SCARF... I'm sure anyone would've found one thing they would've liked from this collection!

Personally, I did want the eyeshadows. I know I said I hate MAC shadows and the way they go on, but I think they're starting to grow on me! :X Yes, more money to waste. I want to be like those chicks with the billion mac palettes LOL.. no but seriously I can save that for the future as a little "HOBBY" to do. It's not like the limited edition shadows aren't dupeable. I really wanted to get birds & berries but I have strike a pose and it was virtually the same color so I passed! I also wanted bough grey but... since I wanted too many lippies I just skipped! The other colors are pretty too, I think I would be able to use them and incorporate them into looks.

All lipsticks are gorgeous! I wanted to get them all, but I know I don't wear hot pinks and I know it doesn't look good on me so I passed on petals & peacocks. The other three I got :X The lipglasses were really nice too.. I skipped on a different groove because it was wayyyy too frosty/shimmery for me and it was pretty dark too so I left that one at the counter.

The blushes were both pretty.. not the norm for me! I wanted both but with my heavy blush hand I knew I had to skip on dirty plum. I also fell in love with both beauty powders but I knew I had to leave one of my loves at the counter because I already have summer rose from another collection and it's definitely not pigmented enough to pick up another one! lol!

Nail lacquers... one was very unique (blue india) but I know it wouldn't be one of my favorites so I left it behind. And vestral white was kinda like... $12 for a white nail polish? Please, I will pass and go buy a china glaze one from one of the discounted sites I found! ^_^

Here's the video on my haul! I know it'll be the last big ones I will be able to haul. It's official! I will be paying on the 15th of every month to Wells Fargo for my car loan :) I'll still be able to haul a few things here and there AFTER I make sure I got the funds for my new baby! ***will be picking her up tomorrow evening!***

Okay! Well since I've been on this buying ban, I find it more and more harder to resist buying things xD I'm really lemming some jewelry now and then sephora has to send me this 10% discount code so now I'm a little frustrated! @$#*$!!!! But I got some birthday money so maybe I'll spend some of it on the things I'm really wanting ^_^

Hello gals! Enjoy the serious eye candy today ~~

I planned a swap with Verina from the end of last year and then we finally sent out our packages when March came! I got mine in the beginning of march but just haven't posted it yet :)

The package came in a huge hot pink box! (Unfortunately I didn't take a picture of that, doh!) It was like boring day ------> EXCITING DAY! :D I was seriously grinning from ear to ear lol.. but everything came safely over here except for the face shop blush. That one broke on the way, but I'll try to repress it because I swatched the broken powder on my hand and it was sooooo pretty! It's in the shade orange but it's really a beautiful peachy color :)

Okay, so onto the stuff! BEWARE!!! This will make you want to go eat some candy lol

I didn't really ask for anything, I just got stuff lol. The thing I really wanted was the Biore black pore strips! I read on Phoebe's blog that she likes these better than the regular ones :) I really wanted to try them out because the white ones just don't work for me!

She got me 3 things of hand cream! OMG, it's really sad though because I still haven't stuck it in my purse and everytime I'm driving I notice that my hands look really dry and gross and I'm like F*CK!!! I forgot the hand cream again LOL.. I gotta do that tonight, seriously! I will have short reviews up of some of the the things that you might be able to get online :)

This whole stack is sheet masks, except for the pink pen and the hand mask! ^_^ I didn't think she was going to get me a ton of silk whitia masks when I asked! lol, but I'm really excited to use them all up :D hm, what I don't know is... what the little pink cloth thing (not soft enough to be a towl) on the corner is suppose to be for?!?! I was really confused and tried to think of what it's used for. Help? lol

THIS is the part of the package I was looking forward to! OMG, I think when I opened it I was more excited for this than the makeup! ahhaha xD I've already ate some of these and they're super yummy! :) The kit kats... you know we all wonder in america what they taste like! haha, I ate the ones with the "APPLE" and "CARROT" on it and it was super fruity, like you're chewing on gum but it's chocolate so I thought that was SUPER cool!

Honestly though, if they sold different flavored kit kats in America I don't think they will sell just because I know most americans (caucasian primarily, no offense!) aren't willing to try new things and like to stick to the norm from what I've experienced at work. I can't wait to go back and visit asia one day! I'll actually have things to look forward to getting now xD!!
